That would be a steal if you think about it. Guaranteed $20M+ annual revenue jump at a place like Tennessee and no risk of a looming buyout etc. Not that it matters.
It's a steal provided he's as successful at his new school as he was at UF and OSU.

That's a big assumption because remember, we're talking Tennessee here. Part of me thinks that if he came here, he'd be inexplicably mediocre, everybody would say that the game had passed him by, and it would dent his legacy further as a HC. And he wouldn't retire due to "heart problems" this time - we'd be on the hook for a massive buyout if we wanted to fire him.

Mullen would be crazy to leave Florida. He must have his reasons though.

Brett McMurphy was just on local radio. He said there is friction between Mullen and the administration. Mullen’s comments about packing the Swamp earlier in the year along with his comments after the bowl game in conjunction with his show cause. I didn’t realize that Scott Stricklin’s public statement after packing the Swamp said something like, “Coaches say things outside their expertise, and Dan’s really good at calling plays.” Seems like they are frustrated with him.
