It’s not just “one player” it’s probably multiple. Don’t think for one second that To’oto’o stays if there’s a coaching change. Same could be said for Wanya who has half his HS teammates at Georgia Tech. Bailey could also follow Gilbert to whatever team he goes to if he feels like he could start there. Darnell could be out and headed to WVU. There’s a ton of guys that would probably leave if we fire Pruitt and go get someone that they don’t.

Not disagreeing with the latter point, but two or more commits and more recruits are a FACTOR. Telling yourself differently is lying to yourself...which should be reserved for women.

Not disagreeing with your latter point, but I have little faith we’d lose either of them if he left and even less faith we wouldn’t find suitable replacements within a year.

Nah. Those kids have built lives there now. And do you think the new coaching staff wouldn't just recruit every single one of them now?

They came to UT to win. Pruitt was indeed huge in recruiting them personally, but they're smart kids. And they have to have at least thought of it already that he wasn't capable of bringing them to the top.

I'll take my chances they stick around. Especially if we hire a guy with the right resume and energy!

It’s not a reason to hold the program hostage to a disaster of a head coach.

Not all of those players will transfer. And if they did, what happens? We go 4-8 next year? We are already there.

Uga bound likely. Rivals uga guy keeps throwing up 👀👀👀 on tweets talking about him being in the portal - and hinted to it happening a day or so before Gilbert first hinted at it.
