I think 6 or less wins next year and he’s gone for sure. The disaster this year was not expected and a plan was not in place. That’s assuming he’s back this year. Doesn’t sound like that’s settled yet. I mean, what other team ever has had to hire 5 assistants in the off season?Unless the plan is 5 years. He very well could be back in 2022 barring a total 0-10 type collapse.
I’m not sure what you’ve been “right” about. He hasn’t been the boss I believed he would be but we’re talking a short sample size and Texas is the first job in which he hasn’t been fantastic. There’s been nothing to ARGUE about concerning my opinion of him so it’s confusing why you’ve developed an ire over his career. You’re not usually an “I’m right...FACTS!” type of poster btw.If we ever hire Herman...I hope your continuing belief in him is right and I am wrong.
I told you years ago I didn't think he was very good, and wouldn't fix Texas, and absolutely nothing about his time there ending in him getting shitcanned has made me feel one bit better about him.
Me and you have argued about Herman for years...so far I've been right.
You know how I feel..I don't wanna argue about it anymore.
I don't think there will be any staff movement on Monday but we will see if anything happens this week.
I don't see any good in dragging things out. But no one is putting anything to rest at this point so feels like everything is tangling in the wind. Now if by mid-week Pruitt makes a hire then it would appear we have an answer. Does the Chancellor speak publicly this week? Do they offer an update on where the investigation is?
In talking to people this weekend and looking at things, my OPINION is the central questions are where is the Chancellor with Pruitt and where is the investigation. Do we get any kind of update this week? I don't believe Pruitt has been interviewed as a part of the investigation as of tonight.
