Several make a lot out of that. Personally, I don't care where he's from and if he was any good and winning nobody else would either.
Griddle? What is this?I know he's respected for his recruit info, especially North Carolina. Also, he doesn't seem the type to rumor monger. That's why I included his comment.
that's not nice.So close contestant, but the #1 answer is...

My opinion is that he has been trying to do just that. I have no doubt that he leads by example. Not sure where your take that he is not leading them comes from. other than your arse.He left out the part where he as a leader has failed to lead his teammates away from doing the things he’s throwing them under the bus for.
BS for him to say all these things and not mention his own failures to lead
-HubbsWhy is nothing done? Maybe it's due to the on-going investigation and maybe they get that wrapped up this week.
As for the unknowns, it's leaving everyone dangling to a degree.
I believe Pruitt has been told by Fulmer that he's fine as has the staff, but they know what's written and said out there. I know Pruitt has spoken with some key donors in the last few days and weeks. So I think he feels like he has an idea of where some thing are. As for making a hire, I don't believe he has been told he can't hire anyone. I think he spoken with a candidate or two preliminarily but no hire was going to be made last week and I don't expect any this week. It's a dead period in recruiting. The University is closed and so I don't think there will be any movement on the hiring front.
2. Pruitt is certainly having to try and answer questions to recruits and current players who are exploring their situations and futures. Honestly, they are probably the group of guys dangling the most right now. Classes begin on January 20th. So players would like to know sooner rather than later.
3. As for fans, they certainly are important but season ticket renewals are still a ways away. Tennessee fans are loyal and passionate so I don't anyone really believes that thousands will ultimately stop going to games. There's no doubt getting a direction is something fans want and need. As for Grudenmania, the Freeze stuff would be totally different if there was an opening because unlike Gruden you have to think that hiring Freeze is a realistic option if there is an opening, which is why I said they must have a PR plan if there is a coaching search, just like they must have a real plan if there's not a search.
As for what needs to happen this week? There's no doubt the sooner you put this story to bed the better so yes, I would love an answer to it this week. I don't think Fulmer needs to clear the air, I think everyone knows where he is. I think there needs to be clarity from those above him in Chancellor Plowman and President Boyd.
If you have a plan in place and hire a guy quickly, you won’t have massive turnover. Look at the almighty turnover at Auburn for example. What many of you short siders fail to acknowledge is that the youthful talent on this roster are very loyal to their coach. If he leaves quite a few likely leave as well thereby setting the overall program back to butch exit days. And we start this whole process all over again.
None of the higher ups expected to be in this position 10 weeks ago. A serviceable qb and we are not in this position. For that reason I continue to expect Pruitt to survive and coach next year. We have a better chance of getting a top tier coach and giving him a better roster this time next year if Pruitt does not rebound in 21.
Keeping a coach in order to keep a few freshman is beyond dumb. Because 1. Most don’t end up transferring anyways 2. The new coach can bring in his own transfers 3. The young guys aren’t going to be developed under this staff anyways. What many of you short siders fail to acknowledge is that the youthful talent on this roster are very loyal to their coach. want to see Tootoo run through T one more year. But, unfortunately NCAA is biggest joke on Earth and is messing game up.Well see you later Henry T. Its not worth it to bring Pruitt back
