Support them on TV? The ad revenue and TV viewership directly supports the AD while leaving the players without a home field advantage (one that our fans claim to be so proud of). Tack on the fact that no recruit wants to play for an empty stadium and we’re only actively adding to the damage done.

If Pruitt returns he’s gone based off of his on field results regardless of if the stadium is full or empty. So I ask you, what does not going to games achieve?

That's simply not true or he would be gone after delivering a 3-7 that included losing to Arky and UK, a compliance investigation that could lead to sanctions, firing a coach in the 4th game, delivering an offense ranked #108 or so, delivering a defense that went backwards from top 30 to around #60, and so on.

Ask Phil what not going to games means. We didn't go his last season either.

No, I haven’t changed my mind. I believe he’ll be fired. Because there’s no good reason to keep him. But obviously until it happens he’s still the coach.

I’m not an insider. I just have an opinion he sucks and should be fired. And I believe strongly that Plowman and Boyd are too smart to keep Pruitt around. But maybe they do. We’ll see.
Thanks Brent.

I'm going to guess he's not that sensitive to what a handful of morons in the fanbase say. Good grief people... 🙄
He’s 20 years old with People questioning his loyalty to his team and teammates publicly. Plenty of morons as you say with every team ours are just on the edge now running with any rumor no matter how dumb

One of the last things Toot tweeted was @pruitt stating “Forever grateful for you coach”..... doesn’t sound like someone wanting to leave even though it may get bad enough that he does.
Haven’t seen anything on him leaving.
Doesn’t sound like he wants to leave CJP.
Maybe it’s him knowing CJP is leaving.

I don't believe that Pruitt will be fired unless the big donors have put up the money for his buyout. With the losses to the Athletic Department from COVID, there simply are not the funds to make it happen. That being said, I believe that the big $$ guys met for dinner after the A&M game (Manning included) and decided how this will play out. If it happens, I believe it will be this week. The investigation will also have a role to play in this situation. I also think that Fulmer should be the first to go or at the same time as Pruitt. Then it's the job of the new AD to bring in a coach who is deemed the best fit for the program.

There's people in the administration that want Pruitt out. This investigation sure seems like an inside hit job. And if what is being leaked and rumored is true, it is deserved. It's unfortunate that we have gotten to this. I don't believe Pruitt is a bad person or a bad coach, but you have to maintain control over your program. Also you need to establish positive relationships with everyone in the administration, the athletic department, the donors, the press, and the fans. It's not an easy job. That's why so many coaches stay as assistants and don't succeed as HCs.

As we saw with Auburn, getting the right person isn't that easy. I would hope that we know who we want right out of the gate. And hope that person wants to be our new coach.

We all want to get better, but hoping one of your star players is transferring isn't getting better. I'm still highly doubtful we fire Pruitt, but that doesn't mean I've quit hoping we find ourselves a better coach.
Who is hoping he'll transfer?

Maybe it’s him knowing CJP is leaving.

Probably just hyper-sensitive fans reading too much into something.

Tweet feels like a goodbye so lemme throw the “hearing HT leaving” on the twitter so I can claim e-cred should it come to pass.

if he is leaving it isnt gonna be for Alabama or Georgia... it will be to get closer to home so like Washington or Oregon imo
Yup...he's going into year 3. Why in the world would he choose to sit a season? Doesn't hold water.

People hoping to use it against Pruitt as another reason he should go. There's already enough reasons, we don't need more.
Agree, no more reasons are necessary.. I would think if Henry were transferring that would be a sign Pruitt is getting fired not something to use against him to be fired.
