There are multiple teams with winning records who are declining bowl invitations, and here we are with only three wins going to accept one… The level that our program has reached is baffling. The only way I would be willing to accept one is if we had a new coach to take advantage of the 15 extra practices.

They should switch to a 10-11 game season, have bowl season like they did before the BCS, then have a +2 system.

Suddenly, a lot more bowls have potential significance, instead of them all being essentially meaningless as they are now.

Looks like Harsin may be interested in moving on from Boise State after seven seasons. His tenure there has featured winning 78% of games played, 3 conference titles and winning 3 of 5 bowls, including the 2014 Fiesta Bowl.

Apparently he expressed interest in the UT job in 2017. Could be an intriguing option - someone from the Petersen coaching tree.

Some, on here, will not want him since he lost yesterday in their championship game.
