Yeah, because no coach would ever leave $3 million a year at a school that wasn't even D-I three years ago to coach at one of the top ten football schools in D-I history for a salary of $5 or $6 million per year. Just like no coach would leave UT to coach at a top-nine football school that had just gone on sanctions and lost scholarships...oh, wait...UT will have to wait to see what happens with the NCAA investigation before making a decision on Pruitt. More importantly, if anything is found and Tennessee is sanctioned, you can forget Freeze setting foot on campus. You could also forget about any major coach wanting to walk into this dumpster fire thats facing sanctions and probation.
One of the top 10 football schools in history is just that, history. In the last decade Tennessee is bottom third so your argument there doesn't hold any water. Freeze, who has been fired for violations is already under the microscope, and UT is pretty risk averse, so no, they won't be hiring him. Sorry you aren't smart enough to see the logic thereYeah, because no coach would ever leave $3 million a year at a school that wasn't even D-I three years ago to coach at one of the top ten football schools in D-I history for a salary of $5 or $6 million per year.
