they would never do it, but I believe Kiffin is the best choice to bring Tennessee back and he regrets ever leaving..
-LWS lets ride.
As conservative as he is, I’m shocked Larry said that lol. UT would never do it though. If they did, you have to set a prohibitively high buyout

Think so. Someone said a week or so ago. Kiffin is making it known behind the scenes he wants the TN job back. But LWS also said it would never happen so.....
Would be a lot of fun to have Kiffin or Freeze as HC running the offense, and hire Mason as DC. We would win a boatload of games, and would be back in the national spotlight quickly. However, I’m sure there are way too many of the big boosters who were rubbed the wrong way when he left in the middle of the night. Those things just don’t go away.

I’m wondering if Fulmer or someone high up is using LWS as a mouthpiece to float this out there? They use numerous mouthpieces on these boards to float info out and see what the reaction is. Not saying they make decisions just based on that, but they like to get a feel for how the fanbase would react.

I wonder if the powers that be would be more interested if Kiffin told them he would agree to an unreal number for a buyout from his end if he left for anywhere? Say $50 million or some crazy number like that?

I really think it would be pretty poetic for Kiffin to come back and win big. Complete the circle!

I continue to be shocked that anybody wearing Orange would consider hiring a guy that signed a contract and left us after one year to return after signing a contract with another SEC school and leaving after one year. Would have to live in fear that USC would want to take their second shot and he would leave us again after one year. Something in his character that I cannot accept as a leader in our program. Hope that the power/money guys on our side have similar fears.

I’ll say one other thing about Kiffin...as much as we were all burnt by him leaving us high and dry, we are at the point that we just want to win and win big. He would give us that chance with a great DC hire. If we would ink him to a deal that has a number so high that there’s no way he would consider leaving on his own (and I would also make our end of the buyout low), then I would say let’s ride and win! He’s another hire that me and our secret group texting buddies would call immediately and get season tickets for next year. Amirite, @volatil @InVOLuntary and @Sugaray13?

lol. because we still suck at football. he's a great coach. by all accounts he regrets leaving the way he did and would like to right that wrong. because I forgive the dude for leaving for his dream job and believe people can grow. because I don't live in fear and wouldn't live in fear if he came back. because I'm beyond caring about how we win or whether our coach/program holds some moral high ground over other coaches/programs because everyone has character flaws, and everyone cheats in cfb, and good lord can we just win some games please?

Kiffin would need to have a contract unprecedented in coaching to punish the coach for leaving. Give him a 5 year deal with 3-4 of those years having a small buyout if we fire him and a return of all money paid and then some if he leaves for even a cashier job at the pigly wiggly. After those years, we can resume normalcy in contract terms. Idk if he will bet on himself that much.

Used to juke and hit spin moves on my mom and sister growing up, now do it to my wife and step daughter. Forever 16 ✊🏻
edit: I’ve tried my 2 year old daughter but she just says,”Daddy you silly.”
I'll also include a solid swim move if they are trying to talk to me but I just want to get past them. I have contemplated a bull rush.

No one can talk themselves into a frenzy over coaches we'll never hire like VN. Not saying Kiffin, Freeze, Briles, or others of the sort would be bad hires, just that I can't imagine UT would ever be the one to hire them. Our admin, and especially Fulmer, are far too conservative. Our football minds are still stuck in the last millennium. It's what cost Fulmer his job as coach, the inability to truly evolve.
