It seems simple to me. UT wins tomorrow, gets blasted by A&M next week, fire Pruitt after the A&M game.

UT loses tomorrow, fire Pruitt immediately.

UT wins tomorrow, somehow beats A&M next weekend, you consider not firing Pruitt, but then realize it's likely the exception and not the rule and then you fire Pruitt.

The only thing I could think of when the SEC announced the tv deal was what it will do to all of our cable bills.

The only way I could see this as a legitimate play is if they can prove a lack of adherence to the rules caused a ton of players to get it or to be quarantined for a long period of time due to contract tracing.

My understanding is that many games will be moved to ESPN+ and require a subscription also

DeerPark said Hugh Freeze will never be hired here. Even if or when Pruitt is fired. Freeze will never be the coach of UT. I get it the man has a checkered past. But it isn’t like he is Art Briles. This isn’t a Christian university where we have to have a perfect head coach. Do we care more about what the news will say if we hire him? I care more about winning. If True looks like UT can careless about winning. Of course we have known this for a while now.

Bass - to be fair we as fans have no idea who the number one target on the UT Admin list even is. I know you're all for Freeze, but that doesn't mean the powers that be feel the same. I agree that the floor should be Napier/Chadwell, but for me the first guy on the list is higher than Freeze, even if it's not realistic.

I think you can judge level of caring based on who's on the short list at this point in time, because that could dictate IF they even make a move or not. Which I honestly believe they should.

If they have Campbell as number 1, that’s fine. I want to see them doing everything they can to land him. Or Urban Meyer. I want to hear that we’re trying there. Or Fickell, or Peterson. I don’t want to see them starting with whoever is coaching North Texas because they think he’s a good fit, I.e. cheap.

Tee as HC, keeping Chaney as OC, and CJG at RB, replacing pruitt linked staff (friend weinkie, and entire defensive staff) hire Steele as DC and his AUB defensive staff.

Not that i want this but i could see Fulmer go this rout as the relatively "cheap" option to replace CJP. Call it the VFL staff.

Would you guys rather do this or just keep CJP for another year? (hopefully these aren't the only options)
