He would be a solid hire but I don’t think he wants to move away from the Pacific Northwest area.Just wondering what everyone’s opinion would be if we did hire Chris Peterson. Personally I think it would be a home run hire, he did well at Boise State and Washington, and could establish a recruiting connection on the west coast.
You don’t need to sell anyone on this coach...just ain’t happening.Just wondering what everyone’s opinion would be if we did hire Chris Peterson. Personally I think it would be a home run hire, he did well at Boise State and Washington, and could establish a recruiting connection on the west coast.
I agree just seems like Peterson and Patterson have been near the center of our coaching search discussions in the past. Doesn't feel right to leave him out of it!Patterson is 60 years old. I highly doubt that he's looking to jump to a mismanaged SEC school to finish out what is left of his career, unless he just wants to get the 'orange parachute' into retirement.
Chris Petersen is a really good football coach and Tennessee would be blessed to get someone like him. However, that is not going to happen. Reality sucks sometimes.Just wondering what everyone’s opinion would be if we did hire Chris Peterson. We tell you that good looking women are awesome and it doesn’t seem to sway you.Chris Petersen is a really good football coach and Tennessee would be blessed to get someone like him. However, that is not going to happen. Reality sucks sometimes.
Jeremy is the coach at Tennessee and there’s nothing I can do about it. But back in 2018 I was told by several folks on this website what a winner he was going to be here in Knoxville. So I’m hoping that little wish of theirs comes true.
Exactly! Why is everyone making post about coaches that are about as likely as me winning the powerball.No. Hugh freeze. No other name should be on the list. The guy grew up in Memphis and considers Tennessee his dream job. He’s won everywhere he’s been including as a head coach.
We haven’t given up on Pruitt yet. He will finish his contract because we will do just well enough next year with new Qb’s to not make a change and avoid the large buyouts. He is our nightmare for a couple more years minimum. That is the realistic view. Now as far as my view, he should be fired today.Have we given up on Gary Patterson?

Don’t think GP will leave TCU. He has had a lot of interest in the past, but seems to really like Fort Worth and his coaching situation. He could make more money, but not likely find a job with equivalent pay, benefits, and community support. TCU started the season 1-3 with losses to Iowa St and KSU, but there was no clamoring here in Fort Worth for him to be on the hot seat. He has a good gig here.Have we given up on Gary Patterson?
