Fulmer doesn’t like Freeze so he’s off the table? How about Fulmer’s off the table then? We want to win. WDGAF who Fulmer likes and doesn’t like. What is this middle school??
Heard Tim Priest's comments regarding Freeze. Not a fan. Told story of how he took his son a recruiting visit to OM, when Orgeron was HC, and Freeze was on staff. Didn't say specifics, but whatever it was, he'd seen enough to know that want the place for him and they left at halftime.

Good thing wdgaf what Tim Priest thinks. We want to win.

Who hires Freeze first in the SEC?

Tennessee?
Auburn?
LSU?
Florida?

Only chance Mullen moves on from Florida is for a job like Texas or an NFL job. However, he might never be more in line for one of those jobs with what he's done with Trask than right now.

If everything goes south with Oregeron, I believe LSU could kick the tires on a coach who beat Alabama twice while coaching in the SEC.

Auburn will possibly do it if they decide to move on from Gus.

Tennessee could do it, should do it, but likely won't do it because Phil has a 15 year grudge against him or something like that.
I think the most likely are AU and Tennessee. Even if Ed O is fired they arent going to hire anyone with any sort of scandal with all the rape allegations and other title iv stuff.

Ab.so.lute.ly hilarious seeing Hubbs talk about still ‘needing to hit on a QB...blah blah Salter...’

We literally just saw 2 QBs step in vs a top 5 team in the country and hold their own. These coaches are one-up’ing Butch and his pass on TL. Shrout has been on campus 3 years and Bailey damn near 12 months and yet!!!! “JG gives us our best chance to win.”

Blow me.

I dont really listen to them for their talent assessment. They always hype up some random guy as a future first rounder in the spring and the guy never sees the field.

I'll never cheer against Tennessee, but my frustration level right now is through the roof.

Right there with you. I've never been this frustrated for any team. Even doing the Dooley years or that 4-8 season under Butch because I knew we were terrible and had no talent.

This team is not great but I dont think we are as bad as our record but the damn HC stayed with a kid at QB who practice great but causes us to lose games on Saturday. Really never gave us a chance to win this year and EVERYBODY knew it except him!

I think they are echoing sentiments from the coaches. They were regurgitated the whole ‘he ain’t ready’ BS about Bailey all year meanwhile JG was doing the cha cha slide handing off the ballllllllllll to the left! Handing off the ballllllllll to the right!

But Bailey and/or Shrout weren’t ready! Bitchpls

Guys just look at the recruits we are losing vs the ones we are offering. Pruitt isn’t going to close the recruiting class the way he has the last two years. He doesn’t have anything to sell. The longer we keep a lame duck coach the more watered down with non SEC talent our roster gets. Our freshman and sophomores are all we have. This class won’t be the worst but there’s no way the 22 class is a success when we miss on two Near 5 star prospects instate. Jordan James is bigger than Ty Simpson in my book. We cannot miss on him but we will.

The sad part is he could have sold the future by playing all these young kids this year but he was either too stubborn or incompetent to do so. And I agree with those who say that we (the fans) wouldn't be calling for his job if he bench JG after the Kentucky game and went with any of the 3 other QBs the rest of the season. Even if the record is the same as of today. He totally botched this season.

Fulmer should have hired Tee and given him a shot over the Bama lover. We could have dealt with him learning on the job and bringing in the best assistants money could buy. Pruitt hire is a disaster. I hope for Fulmers sake that ATL is wrong because the coach is loved by a lot of his former players and I know they are getting upset with the coach. Pissing off boosters is one thing, pissing off family and those who went to war with you is another.
Just because we hired a disaster wouldn’t have made him less of one. He’s not ready for this kind of job. It’s not one that you can learn as you go.

Tennessee has talent. We could use better edge rushers and an experienced good QB, but this team has talent.

Besides the Alabama, Georgia, and Florida games, I felt that we had better talent than every other team we have played so far.

This team seems disunited.

My personal opinion is that a lot of our issues are coaching related.

From what I've heard about Herman he's got some of the same negative traits as Pruitt. Not sure that's the right direction to take. I'm not sure there is a good direction. This program is a ship at sea with no sail.
Beat Florida State (when that was a feat) at Houston and UGA recently. Totally diff level of accomplishments.

Freeze was probably holding a revival in the locker room. Once Orgeron started to sing Priest had heard enough.

If Fulmer is against a Freeze hire I hope he gives Bryan Harsin a call. He's making 1.75 mil/year at Boise State with a buyout of only $250k. I know it's his alma mater but $$ talks. Steve Caldwell was an assistant coach on Harsin's staff at Arkansas State in 2013.

Yes. He would be a really good hire

Yes sir. I found him the other day and he jumped to the top of my list. Proven winner, offensive minded and been successful at a solid G5 job. Checks every box.
He's become my #1 as well. Behind Freeze anyways. Marrone is high for me also but he probably stays in the NFL. Harsin would be a home run I feel. Hopefully Fulmer can use the Caldwell connection and make something happen.
