There are only 2 ways to sign Simpson, Nolan and James next year. Either you make a move now and let a good coach recruit them for a year or Pruitt proves he is the guy next year and we have a really good year and optimism going forward. Sadly we will fall in the middle. We will keep Pruitt and we will struggle next year and make a change and leave a new coach behind the 8ball.

Seems ok. There's already a ton of guys in he portal like 26 went in today. Alot of guys not going to get the opportunities they hope.

I would be willing to bet no other team in the conference wants us to hire Freeze.

And for those that dampen and say he isn’t a sure thing, honestly ask yourself, would you rather have him or Beamer at USC? What about Freeze to Auburn?

I will say until I blue in the face. Dude has beat Saban. TWICE. He has beat Kirby. Both while at OLE MISS of all places. There is networks in place here that would allow him to distance himself from the underground workings. We are an offensive league and he is an offensive coach. He wants to be here. Fans would rally around him.

The Fulmer stuff and what not is disappointing. Freeze needs to happen.

After what we've been through in 2020, every sporting event will see huge numbers in regards to attendance, and therefore gate revenue. This thought that Neyland will sit mostly empty is wishful thinking.

There won't be full stadiums next year either IMO.

Tennessee?
Auburn?
LSU?
Florida?

Only chance Mullen moves on from Florida is for a job like Texas or an NFL job. However, he might never be more in line for one of those jobs with what he's done with Trask than right now.

If everything goes south with Oregeron, I believe LSU could kick the tires on a coach who beat Alabama twice while coaching in the SEC.

Auburn will possibly do it if they decide to move on from Gus.

Tennessee could do it, should do it, but likely won't do it because Phil has a 15 year grudge against him or something like that.

I’ve been redneck mad about vol football since the bama game. Ready to see this Gump get out of knoxville ASAP.

The pathetic narratives that “insiders” and media types are trying to push piss me off even more. There’s no excuse to keep this guy. He’s the worst coach in SEC history not named chad Morris. He’s been given everything he’s asked for and he’s still getting blown out by double digits every week. It makes me sick to think he will be coaching for us again next year

From what I've heard about Herman he's got some of the same negative traits as Pruitt. Not sure that's the right direction to take. I'm not sure there is a good direction. This program is a ship at sea with no sail.
