Do y’all remember the story leading up to the 2019 season? Pruitt had JG over to his house for dinner and the quote was that they worked a lot of stuff out or something. After that CJP came to the press conference proclaiming JG as the starting QB. Ever since then, in spite of his poor play, he continued to have the longest leash on the roster, even this season which has been the worst of his career, all the while we have had 2 QB’s on the roster better than him. What happened at that meeting? They must’ve made some kind of deal or something and it probably has costed JP his job

Bass We overpaid for Chaney
It will take a Christmas miracle for a great OC and DC to jump on board with a coach that will most certainly be fired next fall
I’m not disagreeing. Even if it did, it wouldn’t work. But it’s Pruitt’s only hope at this point

Would you jump into a boat that is halfway submerged and you can see the glaring hole that is not repairable?

Vanderbilt, GA State, BYU, UK, and all the blowouts. Pretty obvious that Auburn win was just an upset fluke by us.

There’s basically nothing good about his tenure.
His best win by far was 2018 Kentucky. That was a very, very average Auburn team we beat earlier that year; they didn't even finish the season ranked.

That Kentucky team meanwhile was a very solid squad that had multiple wins over ranked teams and finished off the season ranked #12 and a win over Penn St in the Citrus Bowl.

I’m really glad we played mizzou early. They are bought in.
They're heads and shoulders better than we are now. As is literally every other team not named Vanderbilt and maybe mississippi state and south Carolina.

Too bad we don't care about winning
