That’s why I said overpay. He needs to go to Briles or Lebby or someone and offer them that Chaney money
I don't know if guys would come here even if you overpaid them, especially top coordinators who think they are in line for a HC job in the future. They'd pass on an above-market salary at a tire fire of a program to wait on a better opportunity, especially if there's a good chance they'd be forced out after just one year.

1. When will we know and how likely is the Vandy game to be played ?
With Ole Miss on pause til Wedn does SEC switch our game with A+M and then work to find us another game for the 19th ?
2. Ok c’mon guys ..... what’s the deal with Shrout and this staff?
After Carolina a year ago and then Saturday night it’s obvious the guy has skills. Throw me a bone here and tell me why the guy has never been given a chance.
3. If most or all the staff is bailing after this year then why bring Pruitt back in 2021 ?
We’ve seen this before and I don’t think the outcome the next 2 weeks changes anything without
2-3 wins and finding a true QB.
That may not even make a difference!
4. I know this is a crazy question but unless Georgia stumbles at Mizzou I don’t see any way the Vols don’t play a post season game.
You hearing Memphis, Birmingham or Ft. Worth ?

So far, 10 bowl games have been canceled. I don't see any way that we could get in any of the remaining bowl games with our record.

Arkansas has actually been the worst program in the SEC for multiple years running. i put big capital W next to that game when the schedule came out.

we were all so excited to see that's who we were getting from the West and that it's finally not some juggernaut.....

the only gamesi had us losing was Bama, GA, FL, ?'s next to Auburn and aTm. at worst 5-5. at best, probably 7-5, 8-4 if we pull an upset.

2-8/2-7/3-7...nope. not on the radar.

Oh, yeah at the beginning of the year I thought we had a shot at Bama. 🤦🏽‍♂️ But after Ky, it was obvious the last 5 games last year was either luck, a fluke or those teams underestimated us. I have no belief in this staff. It’s only a matter of time before it crumbles. The thing to me is Pruitt hasn’t ever looked happy to be here. 🤔

How do you prepare for the Candy game and then get ATM at the last minute? That decision should be made today.

Sankey calls ADs with schedule changes on Monday, so UT should know by tonight. My point was, if the SEC doesn't move up the UT-aTm game today, Vandy can cancel any time this week, due to COVID. No guarantee we'll have a game this w/e.

Well, we have hit that phase of attacking one another for differences in opinion. Sure fire way to know a coaching search is inevitable.

Oh, and one thing I have learned and hopefully we all have.... When LWS says it, take that check and cash it. No more doubting him when he tells us we suck and its over.
well, if some of you would quit having sucky opinions, we wouldn't have this issue.

You can only play the games on your schedule.

Here are a few first year coaches playing conference only schedules:
Eli Drinkwitz: 5-3
Sam Pittman: 3-6
Lane Kiffin: 4-4
Jeff Hafley: 5-5

There is a coaching issue in our program.

Edit: and none of those guys are very good. That's my point!
I’m really glad we played mizzou early. They are bought in.

If we’re keeping Pruitt, and it looks like we are, the only hope is for him to take the Pittman approach. Go out and overpay for a DC and OC, and then back off and let them do their jobs. Get rid of Weinke and Friend, let the OC who isn’t stuck in 1990 pick his OL coach and let him coach QB’s. At this point it’s his only hope. It won’t work, but if we’re keeping him, it is what it is.
We already overpay for our OC and DC not sure we can improve on that.

He can for sure make every throw. He has a rocket for an arm. Problem is when he gets a full game, he throws a lot of picks. But we haven’t really seen him this year so maybe he is better with decision making. His arm talent has never been in question. Still think Bailey has the highest upside. He already can call out blitz protections and go through progressions. Once the game slows down and we get a modern offense, he will thrive.
He had 0 picks last year. Not sure how one can say this.
