Volunteers projected to play Memphis in Birmingham Bowl

Eh, pretty high. The SEC has 8 bowl tie-ins and it seems pretty much guaranteed that the Orange Bowl/Peach Bowl/a semi-final (likely Sugar) will get an SEC team as well. I know that bowls are getting dropped left and right, and obviously the SEC was impacted with the Las Vegas Bowl getting nixed, but the conference was very quick to sign on with the Armed Forces Bowl.

If the SEC does actually have to fill 11 spots, the final slot will come down to Vanderbilt (possibly winless), South Carolina (terrible and with a new coach that is still in Norman), Mississippi State (no fan base) and Tennessee. I really don't see a scenario in which UT does not get a bowl bid in that case, and I would go so far as to say that there are other schools which UT would jump in the conference despite having a worse record given the school's greater overall popularity.
Can we not just let this season end. PLEASE!!

Your Mississippi State comment doesn't make much sense. What does a fan base have to do with anything anyway if they aren't traveling and won't be allowed to attend? Then it's all TV and people will tune in for Leach.

I don't know what to tell you if you think that more people will watch Mississippi State than Tennessee. Leach coached at Washington State and they weren't big eyeball draws then if unranked, and UT badly beat the Bulldogs in bowl viewership last year (Music City Bowl viewership was down significantly over 2018 when it was Purdue vs. Auburn).

If bowls are going to assign spots based on who they perceive to draw the most interest, which they will, a bad Tennessee team is always going to get an invite over a bad Mississippi State team.

please please PLEASE let that girl kicker kick a field goal against us. That would be SO TENNESSEE if that's what puts the final nail in the coffin for this staff.

Imagine losing to vanderbilt and not having to go to a bowl game. It would be so glorious.

Wouldn’t shock me in the least if she takes the game winning FG against us. Tennessee football loves to set records for all of the wrong reasons.

I have this exact toilet. It'll flush a squirrel...probably a live one.
Care to share how PhotoVol got a video of hot dogs being flushed down your toilet? Not that I'm judging, people are free to do what they want with hot dogs in the privacy of their bathroom. I just suspect that it may be a good story behind it, so to speak.

Good Lord, we don't deserve a bowl and I'd hate to see a lose to Memphis.

Only hope is it's enough to finally get Pruitt fired

When I bought mine at a trade show.....
They had a set up flushing a bowl full of golf balls.
Impressed the hell out of me.
Mamma Bear is a fat gal with a high fiber diet
Best investment I ever made

So definitely a dead one, then.
