Funny story if Billy Napier is the higher, I actually met part of his support staff a few years ago. They were a nice group of guys and most of the team was pretty cool as well, although they were probably pretty tired because they had just played.
Who's he higher than? Doubt it's @TrippieRedd . Of course, you could have meant if he's the hire....
 
IF assistants really start abandoning ship, then Fulmer needs to take advantage of the situation. Why hire more assistants with buyouts when you know you're likely to fire your HC within a year anyway? Will he do it? Probably not because it makes too much damn sense.
 
This whole situation is like working with a complete a**hole who sucks at his job, and everyone knowing that they are an a**hole and awful at their job, yet management doesn’t fire the person. And instead management watches all the staff and customers disappear and wonder why.
That's the dude that cost me my job because his wife and my supervisor's wife were BFFs. I was trying to teach that dude how not to suck at his job and hurt his feelings and he told his friend, the supervisor, that I was hard to get along with. He was bad at his job, I tried to help him, and it cost me my job. Yeah, I can't stand that guy.
 
I dont know why so many are down on him on here. He took over a team coming off of 3 straight losing seasons and got them to .500 his 1st year then 20-4 since. He's been an OC at Clemson and Arizona St and was with Bama as WR coach a bit. He's also been QB coach at 4 different places, including Clemson and Arizona St.
I’m fine with him. But Freeze is number 1. After Freeze, if were too stupid to hire him, then I’m fine with giving Napier or Chadwell a shot
 
It's just going to cost more money if they don't do it now and wait till next year when they have to buyout all the new assistants after buying out several this season.
Only one they're buying out right now is Brumbaugh. If they leave of their own accord, we don't pay them anything. And of course some are on expiring contracts.
