I think everyone is tired of Pruitt and wants to end this experiment. The discussions I’ve heard they’re having are basically “can we afford to do it now or do we need to wait a year and hope something changes?”

I’ve heard literally zero talk of “Pruitt is going to turn this around and we’re behind him.”
Surely Pruitt doesn't want to be the head coach at UT next year?

Can he be paid to go away?
That's what he acts like he wants

It probably would never happen, but here's an idea I had late last night as well.
Napier has a better resume than Chadwell, Fulmer gets both together and offers Napier the HC job, but gives Chadwell Chaney money to run the offense and be AHC. Fulmer then has the guys meet with Tee and Jay to see if they can work well with the new coaches. The get Terry Fair back as DB coach and load the staff up with VFL's. Steele for DC.

Yesterday changed nothing. Pruitt still going to be Vol coach in 21 barring change of direction/heart by the people who are in charge of such decisions at UT.

Nothing is going to happen, we start another 5 year rebuild after next season because we waited too long again. No more season tickets until they are serious. Not going to spend my money on dime store results. A lot of people like me are > than big $$$ boosters.

Im in the same boat. As long as Pruitt is at the helm, I won't spend any money on the program as far as tickets/gear unless he makes it to Atlanta

@Kingston Vol

I get why he doesn't just quit ($$$$) but he looks like he wants out.

Is JP and Fulmer playing "chicken" with each other? Seeing which one will give in 1st?

So because of covid I rolled my tickets to next year. Anyone know if it's too late to ask for a full refund?

I think where we sit right now is “don’t wanna fire him” but “we might be forced to.” Thats from a financial perspective.

If this were 100% emotional, he’d have been gone last year.

A lot of this is going to come down to Vandy and what the candidate pool looks like. Take Freeze out of the discussion, then assume Campbell and Fickell are going to get bigger jobs: that’s your list.

If that's the case give me one of Herman, Marrone, Sarkisian, or Napier. Worst case scenario Chadwell.
