To me, this is more evidence that Pruitt was bound and determined to show the world he was right about JG and everyone else on the planet was wrong. That is reason enough to get him out of here.
Pruitt was asked about JG during the post game presser and he said JG didn't get in the game because he did not practice for the past two weeks. If he had practiced, he probably would have started the game. Pruitt has not changed his mind on who gives us the best chance to win. If he practices this week----well ?????????????????

Stupid is as stupid does - Forrest Pruitt

I just feel like this is something he would do
I don’t think it’s gonna be a search this time
That's what any competent AD would do. He either has made up his mind and he's keeping him come hell or high water or he's contingency planning in the background.

Like Kingston says, he probably doesn't have the support ($$$) to do it now. Maybe another loss and a loss to Vandy pushes money people over the edge. Maybe Pruitt wants out, he seems miserable and he may be willing to negotiate the buyout down a bit as his brand is getting tarnished with each pathetic performance. Remember he's a defensive guru and this(his) defense sucks. If he ever wants to be a head coach again, he may want to stop the bleeding.

I think Fulmer has either dug in his heels and plans to bring him back or he's working back channels to see who he can get. If it looks like he can land a good coach, he may be able to sell that to the $$$$ people. If he can't line up someone or if the $$$$ people aren't impressed enough to pony up, he'll just ride with him another year.

Riding with Pruitt another year makes it that much more difficult to find a decent head coach, though. We will be begging for a Napier or Chadwell after Pruitt torches the place and pisses on the ashes. It will be a full 4-5 year rebuild after a terrible 2021 season.

Okay, I know we have issues. I know that we lost. I know that we were outmatched.

I still watched every second of the game. I actually enjoyed watching the team play with some fire. Watching a true freshman with growing pains against a top 10 ranked team was truly okay. I see a ton of potential in him. Seeing the receiver and qb not on the same page is okay in this situation. The qb was throwing where the receiver would be open, but either the receiver broke off the route, ran a different route or was interfered with (was not a single PI on florida that I recall, nor holding on their dbs . First time I have been upset by the officiating because it would have made a difference in the game).

Great call on the fake punt. Great pass by the punter. Freshman jitters dropping the almost perfectly thrown ball.

Did the gators get called once for offensive holding? Nope, gotta protect the heisman candidate....

Right now, I am most pissed about a wes rucker written article belittling the quarterback play in this game. Even with the miscues, there wasn’t a single interception. No sack fumble. No pick sixes. No fumbled exchange with the running back. Light years ahead of the rest of the season. And no, I don’t pay 247.

Defense held florida to 14 points in the second half. Only 7 points scored in the 3rd quarter! That’s huge! Their lowest point total this season. Not claiming a moral victory at all. Not a perfect game by any stretch, but the effort was there. I would be curious to know what the difference was...

I disagree greatly with Stoops doing that. Part of the reason he has done well at UK is that style fits their talent and they can stay in games longer. If he tries to go get a spread or air raid guy he will be gone in 2-3 years. He's not going to get the talent at UK to run those types of offenses.
