Pruitt is less liked than any coach we’ve had in the football complex since our fall from grace. It’s part his naturally gruff personality, but the coaching staff refusing those pay cuts has totally severed all the teamwork and camaraderie in the building. Pruitt has gotten worse during our losing streak, and has again doubled down on the “I’ll be a coordinator in two days” talk. No one is happy over there and no one below the administration wants this thing to be successful.

The issue I’ve been told about is not of Pruitt’s doing, but could be a problem regardless of who is head coach next year. That’s all I’ll say. Hopefully it never reaches the public, if it’s correct. And I have no reason to think it isn’t.
STOP

There was some validity to Butch living off the previous success if Brian Kelly at CMU and Cincy. Chadwell is the only FBS coach Coastal has had. Napier built UL on his own.

Eh, Butch’s best year at CM was year 3 and years 2 and 3 at Cincy. Butch inherited a terrible roster at UT, so he certainly improved it. It was some decisions after year 3 that started the downhill spiral.

Napier and Chadwell are both in year 3, so there’s still not a lot of history there either.

Great
More possible scenarios showing up in the future that could be a major problem
It’s the Tennessee way
Just burn the whole thing down along with the stadium and start over in a few years

Look this is real simple. Pruitt is Anderson’s guy, that’s widely known. So, he isn’t cutting the check.

If you want him gone, Haslam’s are the one’s who are going to have to write the check. The problem is, Jimmy was key factor in Fulmer getting fired. You want the money, Haslam’s are going to have an asking price.

It’s a literal soap opera.
