Why dont fans support this program no matter how bad the times get?

Fair weather??? Bandwagon?? Hell there hasn't been fair weather in like 19 years. Vol Fans can be called a lot of things, but fair weather or a bandwagon fan is not on of those. The bandwagon fans all jumped ship at least 15 years ago.

In what world is voicing distaste and disgust at the coaching staff- who are making a ludicrously expensive mockery of all that Volunteer football has stood for for so many years... in what world is speaking out against that... the very thing that is hurting Vol football... NOT supporting the team?

Is the UT administration “supporting” the program by hiring unqualified coaches and paying them exorbitant obscene amounts of money for continued mediocrity?

I still support our coaches and players and if JP says JG is our best QB then to me thats not BS!

That's not the teams fault. Not even JGs fault ultimately.

Can't root for the VOLS to lose, even if evidence exists that they will lose by a wide margin.

I don't want to see Tennessee get stomped this Saturday. But I think they will. As a result, my "positive " is that I hope that brings Hugh Freeze that much closer to Knoxville.

Freeze is not coming here. He is poison to every P5 school and will be a targeted by P5 HC’s and the NCAA because of his transgressions going back to his HS career.

Could not agree more.
Miami’s stadium was empty for years because they didn’t win. Yet 20 years of sucking and we’re still here. And all those people saying that their done are FOS. They will all be here bitching with us next year. I’m not sure if Tennessee fans are loyal to a fault or just stupid.

edit: obviously I’m stupid. It’s just hard to believe there are that many people as dumb as me.

At this point the 2000 version of Nick Saban would be run out of town on a rail if he lost more than 2 games in year 3. I say the 2000 version because he had yet to win anything. I'm sure the 2007 version was being ripped by Bama fans and being called washed up because they lost to Louisiana's version of Georgia State. He is at Bama, the well wasn't dry and they have their history. Why anybody would want to go to school in Tuscaloosa over Knoxville is a mystery to me, but it seems that the best teams are in the worst places for whatever reason.

Please, in 2000 Saban went 8-4, 5-3 in the SEC. Pruitt is in his third year after going 3-7, with an overall record of 16-19, with horrible losses to the likes of Georga State, BYU, Kentucky, and Arkansas.

The situations couldn't be any more different than they are at right now.
