Sankey will probably announce on Monday. Last week, he re-rescheduled UT-aTm to 12/19 and tentatively re-rescheduled UT-Vandy to 12/12. If Sankey officially cancels UT-Vandy, UT-aTm could move up a week, so the SEC has as few games as possible on 12/19. Once the division champs are official, it will be all about the playoffs.

If we beat Florida tomorrow, then I'll be good with JP for another year. That'll be a signature win over one of the big 3 and I'd excited about next season.

Shoot, I'm excited about tomorrow's game. I hate florida and want to ruin their season. We can do it too. It'll be a sweet victory, with a freshman QB and a team that's been blown out the past 5 games.

I agree with this, Randy Boyd is a great leader. This is why Pruitt is so frustrating for me, he has been given everything including over priced coaches. He is clearly in over his head.

Didn't A&M have the Ole Miss game cancelled on them too? I'd imagine they'll try to get that game worked back in as well.

Its unreal people wanting Cut as HC. Guy has a losing record as HC at Duke and has 8 losing seasons. Hes old. I know he used to save Fulmer's job and got us to the NC, but come on. He doesn't want the UT job cause he knows he can't hack it as an HC in the sec

Bass was buttoning his collar all the way to the top to emulate Butch, thought he was going to win 9 games and beat Florida in 2017, and tried to light me on fire for suggesting Pruitt would never win a conference championship here.

The fact he doesn't think Cut would be a good hire should be viewed as a seal of approval.

Oh, also, he was damn sure Pruitt would be more successful than Dan Mullen.

I would never have Cut as my first option, but I think he's a Rick Barnes-esque hire at his ceiling. I'd prefer a coaching hire to have the possibility of being a 10 year coach, and that's clearly not Cut. A Cut hire leads to another coaching search in 5 years, which doesn't make sense.

You did say you were about 7-8 years old around that timeframe? Bama was at it’s lowest rung and LSU with Saban didn’t hit its stride until Cut’s next to last season. Much easier row to hoe and he had an eventual two time Super Bowl winning QB piloting that aircraft. And you need to retire the hookers and cell phones bit due to overuse. 😴

SEC West was a little different when Cutcliffe was at Ole Miss than Freeze. Really not a fair comparison.

the A&M game has always been the 12th I am almost certain

I’m for keeping Pruitt one more year to see if he can show some promise.

Maybe we should get Dooley as OC, he has a pair of orange pants and he put up a bunch of point me while coaching here
