I just see all these stat lines throwing for 300 and 4 Tds - people with that kind of expectation are gong to be disappointed.

I think showing sings of life is what we will see and that will be enough for me. I just want to see some upward trajectory.

I want a reason for hope.

this. and at the end of the day, i don't think "others" are wiling to deal with the potential, and probably likely, blowback that comes with hiring him, considering our 2017 antics over Schiano....hard to do both of those things and just say "what, is that a big deal?" lol.

and i say all that, and will tell you im part of the i don't care crowd. but i certainly understand why that's likely to never happen.....so i've moved on from that particular notion.

I’m not limiting Tennessee to that statement. Tennessee has always been pioneers when it comes to that stuff whether it be women or men. I’m talking about Major sports as a whole. Especially in the NFL when you got proven failure retreads like Adam Gase getting jobs but guys like Robert Salah or Eric Bieniemy that aren’t getting them it’s weird.

Fans will be mad if we don’t hire Freeze or Meyer. They will get over it. We need a true football coach and someone who can bring us 8-10 win seasons. Cut does that. Give him the highest paid DC in football (Mason) or even a Don Brown or Steele and watch us win. Our QB room would be stacked. Bailey, Salter, Simpson, Manning.....

I agree with everything but I don't give two poots about Skanky, he does us no favors. He continually screws us over.

Bieniemy is gonna get the falcons job and I am going to be thrilled. At least that’s what I’m telling myself!

You'd pretty much lock up Simpson and Kaden Martin on day one, assuming Kaden wants to play football. (I've heard Vitello is doing a very good job here.)

I know Cut. He would have come four searches ago. Since then, he has said no again and again and again. It's not about the money with him.

I don't think Mark Richt beat Saban but add him to that list. I could roll with Les Miles. I was down to him and Patterson 3 yrs ago. If Pruitt is fired, I want someone that's won something in the SEC. Either won a division title, SEC championship, or I'd be excited over someone that has beat Nick Saban. No more unknowns and "let's give him a chance" type hires. Enough is enough.

I know it’s not about the money. But if we ever had a chance it would be now with Fulmer as AD. You bring Boyd and Fulmer and every VFL you can and don’t leave until he comes. He would go down as a legend who saved UT football.

Why in the shite balls would you be ok with Les Miles? Dude has proven that he can only win with elite talent. Like crazy elite talent. We aren’t out-talenting our rivals.

We need a creative offensive mind.
