Pruitt needs two more seasons at least. Remember this was always a 5 year rebuild let JP get his all recruits in first then by the 2023 season we can make a full judgment on Pruitt and if we need to continue to move forward with him as coach.
I know but to not talk about the WHOLE story of Major's rebuilding is to do disservice to the discussion....When we lost to UGA and USC by so much and then later lost to UVA at homecoming, Majors was on the hot seat big timeMajors started coaching at Tennessee in 1977. 1981 would have been his 5th season.
Read my post.
Phil was comparing first 3 seasons.

because of QB play...even a B+ effort from a QB every game and we are 5-2, probably 6-1
Because it is true....look at the games we played...if JG plays better and doesnt turn the ball over, we would definitely had won Arky and Auburn games and probably UK too with a very outside shot of hanging on against UGA.You keep saying that but repeating something over and over doesn’t magically make it true. You do realize other teams make mistakes, too? So, if we get to throw hypothetical situations out there then so do they. What would the UK score have been if they had a qb that could stretch the field? What would the UGA score have been with Fields at qb instead of a walk-on?
Pruitt is still playing with B.tches players. He doesn't have his full roster of his own yet so the jury IMHO is still out. I like a lot of the younger guys on this team that JP has recruited. It's time to see them play!
I'm actually happy that all of you get your panties bunched up when someone associated with the program says something completely predictable, and frankly, perfectly reasonable. It's become comical... bunch of candy-asses.
