Because if I don't I'll have dirt next spring. I live amongst towering oaks that deposit 3-6" of leaves all over what little grass I have not mention the flower beds. I have one of those tow behind leaf vacuums that mulches the leaves and I've already hauled down in the woods 3 loads and I'm still not finished. We call it "leaf eradication" at the InVOLuntary ranch.
i caught my neighbors' from across the street yard crew blowing leaves across the street toward my front yard and nearly lost my ish.............i was likd "dude, i'm not that guy...."

i freaking hate leaves. natures trash.

I don’t get the Bailey love. I understand hoping he has a good game. But he has 172 passing yards 0 TD 2 INT in mostly crap time of games.

Now we’re expecting him to come out and throw for 3-4 TD against the Gators? I hope you’re all right, but please tell me you’re not gonna bash him when he doesn’t meet those slightly lofty expectations...

married guy, with kids ☝🏻

see ... it all starts with the lawn...then the gutters, getting clogged. then you get anal retentive aboit it...then kids want to jump in leaf piles, SO, you buy a leaf blower. Next thing you know, you're out there. watching. waiting. when it happens, you're ready. when that leaf hits the ground, you're on it!

#get off my lawn.
were you on my street two days ago?

I don’t recall the interceptions really being his fault/bad decisions, but could be wrong.

Oh he’s gonna stink it up for sure. But just need some thread of hope. Some command of the offense, clutch plays every now and then. Ownership of the offensive line. No dramatic pick 6’s is a start, lol.

The two ints weren't really his fault.
He's just been thrown in in bad situations. He hasn't had the benefit of scripted drives to start a game or a game plan built around him, but he took the team right down the field and looked comfortable doing so against Auburn when they were still blitzing every play.
He's going to make mistakes, but we aren't winning this game regardless. I think he will end up with the most passing yards we have in a game this season.

You probably know him the best of any poster on here. IIRC, your son was on Marietta’s team? Is HB a pretty calm dude? He doesn’t seem like a high energy individual.

My boys are the younger grades, but they do play for Marietta. I did see basically every pass of his high school career.
He is calm, but its not a low energy thing or anything like that. I just dont think things like playing in that game last week, even though a FR, would faze him. He has played so much football and I think he has been trained for this since he was a little kid that its just a thing to him.

He would get up in other kids faces in high school and let them know when they were not hitting their assignments, whether it be OLinemen missing blocks or WR's running the wrong route. He lit into the refs pretty good in the state championship last year when the Lowndes band was playing 15 yards behind him during the snap count (we had actually been penalized for that the year before when our band did it).

I've been following you're posts since the HB thread and enjoy what you've shared on VN. What little I've saw of Bailey, coupled with what you've posted about him, gives me hope and belief that he's going to be the QB that finally drags us out of the ditch. I hope he plays the whole game Saturday and balls out.

bbbbbbut assertiveness Jermy!!! this follows everything i've read and heard about him. anyone can hand out off 40 times, dont like playing a freshman? let your 1.6 million dollar OC and qb guru coach him

There really would be nothing sweeter than to play spoiler to FL's season...
Would certainly be fitting for this year; however, we all know exactly how this story ends...we have to play a perfect game (what has given us any ray of hope that can happen), and we need to Florida to be off a little. Also, the SEC refs will NEVER allow us to win this game, because it takes away another possibility of 2 teams making the playoff
