Asking for Hugh - For those of you in the know, what’s the prostitute scene like in Knoxville? Good prices? Reasonable pimps?

Also, how many wins are you comfortable with vacating?

Coach Hugh is going to need this info before agreeing to come to Knoxville.
Freeze is a breast man.
What kind of qualifications do the local girls have??
Pics or it did not happen.

It was from early June, 2018.. My bad, 2 1/2 years old...

The only reason Sankey blocked Saban from the hire in 2018 because he didn't want Freeze in the league while Ole Miss was still on probation.. They come off probation end of this month. Not to mention, Pruitt wanted to hire Freeze at the same time Saban did and Fulmer was on board with it... This has been rehashed over and over ad nauseum...
He blocked it because it's an SEC bylaw. Read the article. That bylaw still exists today. If Freeze is hired by anyone in the SEC it will only come after his approval. The Universities can vote to change the bylaw but clearly that's what would have to be done if he's to be hired within the conference. What difference does when the article was written matter as long as it's still a bylaw?

I didn't forget to look, it's still a rule today genius. I guess you don't know how rules work.

Lol, are you wanting to redefine the word "consult" in the English language as a whole, or just when referring to SEC bylaw 19.8.1.2?

Read the article, it clearly states that he does when dealing with coaches who have broken NCAA and conference rules. You can't even get it right when it's clearly documented.

Read the bylaws.

19.8.1.2 Hiring Practices. Member institutions shall exercise best efforts to hire individuals committed to rules compliance. In connection with this requirement, member institutions shall thoroughly evaluate an individual’s record of rules compliance prior to offering employment for any coaching position or noncoaching position with sport-specific responsibilities. While each member institution makes its own hiring decisions, member institutions shall, at a minimum, request specific information from each candidate concerning his/her rules compliance record and communicate with NCAA enforcement and the Conference office regarding the same prior to offering employment to any candidate.
In addition, where a member institution considers hiring an individual who has engaged in unethical conduct as defined under NCAA Bylaws or who has participated in activity that resulted, or may result, in a Level I, Level II or major infraction, the President or Chancellor of that member institution is expected to consult directly with the Commissioner prior to offering employment to the individual.
Each member institution must include in each contract with every athletic director, coach, senior woman administrator, and other employee of its athletic department a specific provision obligating the employee to comply with the Rules and specifying that the employee agrees to be bound by and will comply with the enforcement, penalty, and other disciplinary provisions and procedures of the NCAA and of the Conference, including but not limited to the provisions of Article 4 of the Constitution and of this Bylaw 19.8. [Revised: 6/2/17]

Not going to argue with you anymore.

You don't believe, fine.. Wait and see, Freeze will be back in the SEC by 2022...

For anyone that cares, here’s what the bylaw says: from the SEC website

You have to give it to ole 'Laski. He's spent the better part of his afternoon and evening trying to vilify fans and quelch anything remotely positive.

What do you think consult means and why wasn't he hired by Alabama or Auburn as OC for the '19 season. You think Sankey just told Saban I wish you would not hire him and Saban agreed to that? You guys are ridiculous in thought sometimes, you're just negative all the time.

It says we can't hire a guy who can beat the big boys in the SEC unless the commissioner gives his blessing. Times like this make me oh so glad we have a legal system.
Otherwise known as the Saban rule... 😎

To me it's interesting that the school must "consult" the commissioner. In my line of work that is a big deal. You are basically saying that you lack judgement or expertise on the matter and therefore you are consulting with another party presumably with superior judgement/expertise. The result of the consultation must be documented and it would be highly irregular to go against the consulting opinion.

I wonder if this is a similar use of the term consult?

There is no reading between the lines, if the bylaws do not explicitly give the commissioner the power to deny a hire he doesn’t have it.

You really need me to post the definition of 'consult' for you?

Wait, maybe you should give us your personal definition of 'consult', before I let you know what it actually means.

Sankey consulted Saban and Gus by telling them they could not hire Freeze and they did exactly as he consulted them to do.
