Here is what hurts. My son really doesn’t have the desire to go see us play Florida this Saturday. He made the high school basketball team but missed their first game Thursday due to a quarantine from a school contact 11 days ago. He feels great but sat beside someone in class who tested positive while we were on break last week. But wanting to be safe and play ball and us sucking, he doesn’t want to go. UT has killed the reason I’ve been going. Time with my son. Told him I was calling to peel back and not get tickets if Pruitt stays and he was ok. That’s fine. Screw Pruitt and Bama and Fulmer. They took my son and made him not care.

That’s his boy, and any dude on here that doesn’t act like they’d have trouble firing their boy. They’re lying.

If I were in JP’s shoes...I would probably look to the future. Shore up one of the best ‘22 classes the program has ever seen and make it extremely hard for the administration to get rid of me for fear of loosing such a talented group of players...

I have no interest in watching this thing go down in flames for the fourth time this decade. If we are not going to make a change, I, along with many others, will find something else to do with my time.

The spinning of the coaching carousel is at least something interesting to ponder. Without it, we have nothing.

Maybe I’m just speaking for myself, but there’s no blind loyalty anymore.

Sorry dog. I’m here for it all. Pruitt can get lost, but I know UT will be back again some day. I can feel it in my plums. And all the struggles now will make those glory days all the sweeter, and they will be appropriately cherished until the day I die!

Sucks that it has come to this...just a few weeks ago it seemed we were on our way out of the darkness.

All of us are so sick of this, but I am a Vol till I die, and when...or should I say..IF..we ever finally get a break and somehow return to being a good program...I will be right there waiting.

The darker it gets, the brighter the light is when it finally breaks through.

I have one younger relative who has only really experienced a couple of decent seasons, with the first part of 2016 being the “glory days” of his fandom. That’s sad.

Here’s the kicker though: one of his older cousins constantly tells him how sorry he is that he didn’t get to experience the magical time that was...the SEC East title in 2007.

We have to get back; for them, more than for us.

Our oline was massively overrated by both media and fans because it had young talent on it. Thing is it's oline and young talent is not as good as seasoned talent. If you took Trey's stats out of the picture we had an extremely mediocre OL last season. PFF was the only place that mentioned this and to their credit they sounded the alarm about our OL before the season began but people saw 5*s and forgot that there's an enormous difference between OL and skills players.

Yes because Kennedy, Cade Mays and Trey Smith are all young and not seasoned... Morris started 12 games and was a Freshman all American. Excuses excuses

Pff ratings are garbage but btw Kennedy was rated one of the best centers last year sooooo

As it looks he will be 3-7 (barring Vandy win) and have lost all but 4 (16 of 20) of his losses by double digits (assuming UF and AM beat us by double digits. All of his assistants will be on expiring deals. Fans are already apathetic BEFORE we play the 5 and 6 ranked teams in the country. You think fan apathy is bad now, just wait if chalk plays out.

Money is the killer right now. Gun to my head I think he returns barring a Vandy loss. Then get ducks set in a row for next year. No assistant gets extension and anyone you bring in can’t get a 2 year deal.

Issue is fan apathy. That speaks louder than boosters. I be we won’t have 10K at games remaining. How do season ticket holders come next year? Fans are out on him. That’s the final nail in the coffin. It’s just how quick does this ship sink. Vandy being delayed is bad for Pruitt.

Thank you for saying this. I appreciate AVs comments but the class of 22 thing is hilariously dumb and absolutely is a poor attempt at crowd control. Do they think that we are that ****ing stupid?

We are hemorrhaging our best recruits in 21 and are debating if we can beat a winless Vandy team. What quality recruits are going to sign up for that ****?
