If UT recruits itself, why the hell don't we have 20 five star guys on the team? UT does not recruit itself-----------damn.

The point is no matter who the coach is Tennessee is going to be middle of the teens in recruiting.

It’s seems logical to me to be ok with those type rankings as long as the coach develops players and wins 7-9 games a year. Dooley, butch nor bama Jeremy have done that

It was clearly a publicity stunt. I didn't get the whole deal over it really. There's been female kickers before and they were a lot better than the one Vandy just fielded. There's no need to criticize either really, she kicked one kick and it was bad but they lost 41-0 and no one would criticize the one kickoff they had in a 41-0 game. No one would interview the kicker of the losing team in that game either but I get it somewhat.
Yeah, Tonya Butler was first team all state in GA back in the late 90s and kicked in JUCO, then at West Alabama on D2. She was their kicker for two seasons and kicked like 15 fgs for them and a lot of xp's.

I think most of the fanbase was "out" when we saw the back to back to back blowouts. It's not like we're playing Georgia & Alabama every week. No one would have predicted we'd have lost 5 games all by double digits BEFORE we even faced Florida and A&M.

Honestly for me Pruitt broke me in that KY game. I'm not sure if it was that he just stuck with JG or that he immediately pulled JT after doing the same **** he seems to give JG passes for doing.
Yeah. Just saying some might be more willing to let this season slide if Pruitt had some previous success as a HC.

That '09 class finished 8th, Lane still pulled some studs. Everything was honestly setup pretty well...I think they cut Fulmer free too soon, and I think Lane was too immature and early in his career to be hired as HC. Imagine if we had managed to pull Lane as the OC instead of Clawson and Lane coulda gotten a few years under Fulmer before just taking over the job?

I mean honestly if Lane had stayed in Knoxville things would also be pretty different right now.
If my aunt had balls, she would be my uncle------if is the biggest word in the dictionary.

Curious who the "Covid QB" is. Mainly just hoping it isn't HB. It would affect him a lot more in prepping that would the others. And of all the teams that gets inside of JG's head - UF is easily the worst. It's like he personifies our Florida BVS each time he plays them. Maurer looked awful against them last year as well.

Assuming Shrout doesn't suddenly come out of hiding, I think we have to ride with HB as long as he can play reasonably well. If he sinks badly, then let JG go get Pruitt fired and gaslight this *****
If one of our QB's has Covid, why are the other QB's not in contact tracing? Do they not even attend the same QB meetings together?

You can tell by his press conference that coach Pruitt is stressed out and frustrated. He's about had it.
I’ve said this to my inner circle of friends and stand by it..

If UT would give him his 12 million and allow him to walk away he’d take it NQA. I also think you could negotiate that thing to 9 or 10 million, he’s seemed disinterested since the jump this year.

The only reason Pruitt would make UT fire him is because he wants that money, it’s not because he values this job.

Why is our administration the only ones that don't see it?
Sunk cost fallacy imo. They believe they are too invested in him and his ridiculously overpaid staff, so they just keep throwing good money after bad.
