A lot of things were certified throughout the course of human history ... until proven otherwise. Unfortunately a lot of people were crucified, torched, stretched, hung, spindled, folded, and mutilated for daring to disagree with certified "fact". You would have hoped we'd be more enlightened by this point and free to examine questionable events with a more open mind.

I think we pretty well understand Tulsi's liberal leanings - a lot depends on how much is hard left and how much is perspective; but you are right, seeing her as a republican is a stretch. What I think you are missing that attracts a lot of us to her isn't looks, and certainly not political leaning, but there's a sense of honesty about her. There's the military career, too; she's simply not your average politician. I was very impressed that she chose not to vote during the impeachment process. She was the only Trump rival or potential would be rival who avoided a conflict of interest - that was the honorable thing to do, and none of Trump's other potential rivals saw fit to do the same. She deserves a lot of respect for that act.

There are no half truths. Those are her stated positions and programs she has proposed. Her big appeal to conservatives is that she is always in favor of bringing troops home and of a non-interventionist foreign policy (which goes over well with a President like Trump)... and that she is pretty.

She’s voted against her own stated positions When the bills were not constitutional and is still willing to let courts decide on the 2A. She has recently said that she is reviewing her position on the assault weapons ban based on the 9th circuit decision.

So no she’s not a normal leftist dipshit you like to follow around.
