Has Geno ever missed out a recruit he wanted that ended up to going to Notre Dame and why does he take these petty and personal shots at opposing players?
Watching some games around the league and South Carolina and Kentucky definitely look like one and two in the SEC. Howard is suspended and not playing today or the next game and this team still has a lot of weapons and have really found some bigger players for the inside game. Arkansas still not that much inside they will again depend mostly on their perimeter players to win games. Anyone that can shut down or even slow down their perimeter players can beat them. Texas A&M meh may be the overrated team of the league. I don't see them in the top three they seem to be offensively challenged this season or maybe just a bad game. Regardless they do not look to be even close to the ability of South Carolina and Kentucky. I think them being picked third will be wrong. Alabama has some physical players but they're not shooting it that well today need more information on them. One thing about them covid or not they get about the same crowd of 300 fans. Florida looks to be improved over last season will probably score a couple of upsets over the higher ranked SEC teams.
South Carolina's best bet to lose in the SEC is likely at Kentucky. I'll have to see Tennessee and Miss St to see how they match up with them, Kentucky can match up still would need a huge offensive game to pull off the upset. I don't see anyway Arkansas or Texas A&M can take them they will overpower Arkansas's perimeter and A&M at this point is not the team they were last season.
Because he’s petty and immature. Similar situation with Brunelle. I don’t remember the exact details but it was similar in that he claimed they never wanted her anyway.
One of the UConn beat writers posted a statement that Brunelle was never offered a scholarship to UConn on the same day that she committed to ND.
Brunelle said she had an offer from UConn and I also heard that the offer was pulled too.
Yes at the time she posted a picture of the offer and then later deleted it I think. UCONN acted like they had no interest to begin with but they obviously did.
He talked bad about Delle Donne after she decided to go closer to home to be near her sister who has autism as well. Something about how some people just can’t cut it. She’s gone on to be one of the best players in WBB ever. Not everyone needs Geno as much as he thinks they do lol.
Sorry, I can’t ignore.
How did “UConn” act like they had no interest? There was no official statements or quotes from anyone from UConn.
He also totally supported Delle Donne. You have a link or even a quote from Auriemma?

How Elena Delle Donne spurned Geno Auriemma only to reunite with him in the Olympics
So, you didn’t read the article I linked? You’re not getting a response from me about anything basketball related. I’ve been on here for years and have developed great “friendships” with people on this board. Every now and then someone like yourself, who just wants to pick a fight with everyone, shows up. I avoid people like you like the plague. You add nothing positive to the board, you’re just here to stir the pot. Didn’t even read your reply as it’s not worth my time. Happy Thanksgiving!

Agreed. Was pretty nonplussed with what I saw in the first half from A&M today. Thought we would see a lot better guard play from them. Anyone know what up with Zaay? I thought she was eligible but she has not played.
Arkansas is still small, when their shooting is hot they’ll be hard to handle. If our perimeter defense has improved Arkansas will have a tough time with our length.
SC easily looks like the best team in the league. That said, I did not feel Boston was that impressive today, she didn’t look like the best player in the SEC at all. Not even the best player on their team, Saxton out worked her 2-1.
Kentucky looked decent without two of their better players but this is not a good start having to suspend people to begin the season. I would not be shocked if they have an up and down year.
I saw the first half...at one point it was like 20-2,,,not impressed with 4 DD's against a team that never was in the gameThe biggest concern if I'm Kentucky is that Owens/Edwards were non-factors that were in foul trouble the entire game...against Murray State. That doesn't bode well for them if they have to play a team with a strong frontcourt. But Patterson sure seemed to like the extra shots that were available without Howard, and Treasure Hunt looks like she'll be ready for Day 1.
I wouldn't lose sleep if I was an SC fan, what with the fact that they didn't need Boston to do much today. She was probably drawing a lot of defensive attention just by virtue of being on the court, opening things up for their guards. Having 4 players with double-doubles is pretty damn impressive. They keep calling Grissette a guard, but she looks like a post to me with her stats.
