That’s such a leftist thing to say . when you can’t get what you want head on you just try to attorney your way in .

Its literally called interpretation. But I suppose you assume I was attacking your right to a 5000 watt laser rifle, but I wasn't.

Don’t have to , we have highly educated leftist that visit the 2a thread to keep us informed on how to go about it since an amendment is not going to happen .

I didn’t assume anything just pointing out how it’s done and why . To me , taxing a right is and having the masses accept it is beyond stupid . To the left it’s acceptable , with certain rights , in some cases , but not in others .

Well then you probably gathered from my response that I think gunpowder will always be available, as well as rounds and firearms.

So, it really comes down to size, scope and function. Or do you think I'm wrong in that understanding?

No it comes down to taxes for the purpose to restrict an individual from being able to use their right even though they have it . Same as voting . Allowing the government to tax your vote would stop most people from voting , put taxes on and attempting to raise or add more will do the same for product . You can give me a shovel for free but if the government is going to tax me oh let say $200 for having that shovel .. you can keep it .

Mind posting some actual data to prove this?
Actual data? Shoot. I thought I could just throw out mindless bs like the trumpers do and not have to have actual data to back it up.

Hold on and I'll head over to OAN and see if they have any data I can post.

No you there out something that isn't backed up and didn't expect to be challenged. You're unlikely to find what you're now searching for

I'm hoping the defeat of Trump will lead to this becoming a more reasonable political forum.
You can hope in one hand......

Lol
Till people become interested in figuring out where we agree as opposed to pushing the extreme on each other it’s going to remain status quo.
I see no evidence that either side is interested and Trump certainly isn’t the boogie man

So, no tax on firearms? I think residents of DC have a good case not to pay it, but there is some obvious irony there.

Maybe its not irony.. i think that word is misused a lot, and often by me.

Sales tax on a product is fine. Taxing a right as a fear mongering money grab not so much.

Twitter will rot your brain , it’s a cess pool of ignorance and reading it makes you lose brain cells .

Will it rot your brain to the point of saying

while the right wages a legal battle to attorney their way in to an election that they lost head on?

Challenged? Haha. I happen to work for an agency that depends on tax revenues and in fact have seen our revenues decrease due to a tax cut. Now, on a national level can the GDP grow in spite of a tax cut? Sure.

Is that what they are doing or are they just prolonging the inevitable? I ask this because it’s kinda what attorneys do , you know drag it out until they are force to quit .

This isn't about gdp growth (although it's a factor) it's about overall tax revenues. What do they do in response to a tax cut?
