Coach Mike Leach

And, its with very young players. He has gutted the program. He guts program and takes 2-3 years every time (Texas Tech & Wash St). But, he also turns programs by yr 3 or 4.
How many players have either transfer portal or opt out this year? More coming I'm sure. I am excited because I hate Alabama so much I want to see someone else dominate the West. I just hope with Bailey under center UT actually takes a dramatic step forward next season.

Staggering that Kirby thought D'wan Mathis was better than JT Daniel's at the start of the season. UGA could well be 7-0 and the #1 team in the country right now if JT had been the starter.
Kirby is overrated. UGA should have stayed with Richt.

MSU also started a freshman QB last night who has now faced both Alabama and Georgia on the road. His confidence didn't get all shattered. He's currently thrown 105 passes without an interception and is completing 75 percent of his passes. By year three Leach will be far far better than we are in year three with Pruitt. He would have been a great hire at that point in the coaching search and we wouldn't be strugging to break 20 points against everyone we play.

P.S his defense is much better than Pruitt's in year one vs year three for the defensive guru. We gave up 223 yards rushing to Georgia, they gave up 32 yards rushing and 13 less points.
A lot of people on this board have talked a lot of **** about Leach. He will have the last laugh.

I think Leach has done Ok with the roster he inherited. He is better than Pruitt and willhave more success than Kiffin. He will have a longer tenure then both.
Leach will stay at MSU and win a couple of SEC titles, be in the playoffs a couple of times, maybe win a Natty, grow old and retire as a Hall of Fame coach. I personally think he will be the reason for Saban retiring. Bammers will get tired of losing to State real quick like.

There is no need to wait. Do the inevitable immediately.

Leach is fun but is not the answer.

The immediate best option almost beat NCSU with Liberty last night, right after they did beat Va Tech.

I am for winning, legally of course regardless of who the coach is, Leach, patrino, urban, stoops, Liberty coach. With all this said a change at qb would do wonders for ut, Bailey completed passes last night jg would have been sacked on because he has a much quicker release.

Dont count on it if jg decides to return.

Imagine how much better we'd be if Fulmer had allowed Pruitt to hire Freeze as his OC. Rarely do folks get second chances. Freeze is right there for the taking. Question is...will we have the resources and the balls to make the change? Rhetorical. We all know UT won't be bold and go big. We'll have cornbread back next year and suffer through yet another miserable football season.

The same Richt that got ran out of Miami? Richt lost his passion for the game near the end of his career. There’s a reason he’s unemployed right now.
In short Mark Richt lost control of Mark Richt

In his first year at the helm, MSU took UGA to the wire last night. Not only that, but MSU looked better than or as good as UGA is every aspect of the game other than the deep ball, which is the only reason UGA won.

UT had Leach lined up, and not taking him was an AD blunder. I am not calling for Pruitt to be fired this year, but if UT flops next year he needs to go by mid season.

I don't see how UT could get Leach now that he is at MSU, but whoever pulled the plug on that deal really dropped the ball. It's Pruitt's 3rd year and UT is still on the bottom. When Leach has been at MSU for 3 years, they will be competing for the SEC West. Mark my word.
Agree.

I am not a JG hater. He has done his best under terrible circumstances and I think he is permanently rattled back there. But that pick 6 was his fault. He was standing there like a damn statue. No spidey senses. He is just in a daze back there sometimes.
Not many QBs, from middle school to D1 NCAA college have given an opposing team even one 100 yard turnover TD. JG has two in 2 years with year 2 not over yet.

I have been following Leach since Texas Tech beat Texas back in 2003 or whenever that was. He is a football genius and his system will be unstoppable in the SEC, despite what all the alleged 'experts' say.
football genius who has been fired three times and has never won anything of note

He has 49 scholarship players because 20 something players quit on him because of his antics and lies

"STARKVILLE – Mike Leach said this would happen.
Minutes after Mississippi State lost 24-2 to Kentucky on Oct. 10, Leach hinted that a purge of "malcontents" could be coming. Now the Bulldogs are in the middle of it."

What Mike Leach said about Kylin Hill, players leaving Mississippi State

Leach will get the players who want to play for him and they will not leave like the current 'malcontents' have done.
