Fulmer has a very easy argument to not go down with the Pruitt ship… All he has to say is he had a very limited pool of coaches to choose from when he entered the picture, because of Currie’s massive screwup. And that is a very legit argument! He can argue that he should get a second chance to make it right. See how easy that is?
Yeah, I don't understand the Fulmer=Pruitt argument in the first place. I made a longer post about that earlier so I'll try to keep this one shorter. Fulmer inherited a search that had already gone up in flames. He didn't start the search. He wasn't the one who screwed it up or the one who eliminated several options. He was the one who walked into all that and tried to salvage it. He made the best decision he could with the choices he was given but tons of options had been taken off the table before he entered the picture. Pruitt was the best junker left on a lot full of junkers.
