Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I don’t get paid for wearing a mask. If you have your doctorate in nurse anesthesia then you can have my Friday shift though. It’s time and 1/2, I’m sure you’d be happy with the result. I would love to get into a tree stand myself.

I’ll swap with you and see which one of us crashes first ... got your CDLs ?

Take the government mandates out of the equation and consider the person-by-person decision-making process. If you don’t understand that masks can or may help prevent the severity of a pandemic but you choose not to, for whatever reason, is that, on any level, sound decision making? Is that being considerate, on any level?
Person to person decision making I would never impose my wants or protection on another that did not actively seek it.

I feel sorry those in your life whom you expect to live up to your expectations.

Ever think it goes the other way too? Can I expect you not to wear a mask for my protection? Or the general public. Mask gets some virus on it. Person touches mask to adjust it, virus goes from mask to hand to surface. And guess what the aersolised liquids in their coughs and sneezes still end up on surfaces too. So all you are doing is requiring an extra vector of potential spread.

That's what's great about this country, diversity of opinion.
The opinion that the earth is flat shouldn’t be disseminated to the public by those in office... but here we are, America in 2020 promoting stupidity more than ever.

There are several healthcare workers that are not asking that of anyone..... it’s definitely not a consensus that feels the way you do.
QFT. I have friends/colleagues in nearly every field of Medicine who disagree with mask mandates and will gladly quote decades of research that clearly demonstrate lack of efficacy vs viral transmission. And, yes, that includes surgeons -- they only wear them to keep nasty s#!+ from splashing into their faces. The notion that paper would magically block viruses that measure in nanometers is completely absurd.

I don't think I have ever heard an elected official promote the flat earth theory. Not saying it hasn't happened but none that I can remember.

Well it is, so I’m not sure how you change that part of the equation.
You keep ignoring the shut downs and government mandates so if you were considerate enough to be consistent you would entertain his what if. Just like we are you.

But again you have one way expectations.

Then you need to get to work because i have guns to buy, and we need to pay for them .. chop chop worker bee make us some money .
Let's not pretend someone with that mindset is going to be contributing. He's the one who signs up to bring salt and pepper to the company potluck then grabs the ones from the breakroom

Yep I agree.....I don’t think they are that effective at all

Every study I've seen on masks says they prevent water droplets from escaping when you cough or sneeze. In other words, symptomatic people should wear masks. No ****? What about people who are not coughing or sneezing and breathing normally through their nose? You know, 99% of people out in public?

Are masks mandated for people who are too stupid to realize they have a cough?
