I hope your right. Unfortunately it seems our staff in unable or unwilling to learn from their previous mistakes. I’m usually pretty forgiving and conservative when it comes to coaching change, but I’m seriously drifting towards the fire Pruitt campLiterally the same depth chart we’ve released every week. It means nothing.
Relax.
He's had enough chances this far into the season to put HB in. At this point there is nothing Pruitt can do outside of winning out that would even make me consider easing up on him. I've seen the most boring and worst Tennessee team of all time this season and nothing gets better. You just made my point. Fans are sick of Pruitt trotting JG out there, and I just think people might back off just a little if he rolled with HB the whole game. That’s all

Winning cures all.I know what you're saying and agree somewhat, but I'm afraid, at this point, too many have checked out on Pruitt and I'm not sure there is a path to get them back.
At this point he's going to have to do quite a bit more than just beating teams he should. He's backed himself into a corner with the fans that may be impossible to get out of..Winning cures all.
I'm not saying Pruitt is going to start winning, in fact, I think the odds are seriously against it. But people would totally come back if he started winning.
I keep hearing from people that "the program is dead." The program is dead when there is apathy; when we get killed and nobody cares.Dude
People are back. They never left. It had just been painful to watch Vols football since I was 15. I am now 50.
By "winning" I meant winning all the games he should plus winning a couple of games he shouldn't. If he is somehow able to do that, all these people calling for his firing would immediately deny they ever said it and say they knew all along he was a good coach. At this point he's going to have to do quite a bit more than just beating teams he should. Also, if he's not in deep doodoo with the AD and boosters, then we have no AD and boosters...
Honestly, do you think he's able to do what you're suggesting?By "winning" I meant winning all the games he should plus winning a couple of games he shouldn't. You are right though - just beating bottom-tier SEC teams isn't good enough now. He already got all his pats on the back for that last year. It was time to take another step this year, but he's fallen right on his face.
