Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Hey the plane is crashing, let's get a new pilot in here to save us. If the new pilot does not save everyone it is the new pilots fault. I love how your brain works. How do you get out of bed in the morning? Like you got out of bed yesterday morning, why do you need to get out of bed the next day?

The new pilot made those promises.

Oh yes, it is. Just saying that it's too early to say conclusively that vaccinated people who contract CV19 have less severe illness.

I wonder if those that had COVID will need the vaccine. I know I’ve seen conflicting views on immunity and only a handful of reinfection claims. Of course with all the false positive tests some of those reinfection claims could possibly be initial infections.

The most recent studies have shown that immunity persists for at least 6 months.

South Dakota emergency-room nurse says some patients insist COVID-19 isn’t real even as they’re dying from it

A South Dakota nurse took to Twitter on Sunday to highlight a tragic feature of the coronavirus pandemic: patients who rail against health-care workers because they don’t believe COVID-19 is real.

The ones who scream at you for a magic medicine and that Joe Biden is going to ruin the USA. All while gasping for breath on 100% Vapotherm. They tell you there must be another reason they are sick. They call you names and ask why you have to wear all that “stuff” because they don’t have COVID because it’s not real.’

Jodi Doering, an emergency-room registered nurse, described the phenomenon in an interview on CNN on Monday, after her Twitter posts attracted wide attention: “It’s not one particular patient; it’s just a culmination of so many people and their last dying words are, ‘This can’t be happening, it’s not real.’

“And when they should be spending time FaceTime-ing their families, they’re just filled with anger and hatred. I just can’t believe those are their last words,” she said.

Out of roughly 65,000 cases SD has about 600 COVID related deaths.

I was reading up on the 2004 tsunami in Thailand.

230,000 people died. 230,000. That was 0.35% of their population. That is insane.

Are the governors of coastal states aware of this possibilty? Why are they allowing residency within 10 miles of the coastline?

Is Whitmer aware? I'm sure Lake Michigan could do the same thing

Moderna comes out with an even more promising vaccine today. 94% effective and can be stored for up to 30 days in normal refrigeration. This on top of Pfizer’s vaccine announcement last week. First deployment to people expected in December.

So Trump somehow wound up delivering on the promise of having a vaccine developed by years end contrary to Fauci’s repeated BS otherwise. Even that idiot has gotten on board with the positivity since the second vaccine even he can’t keep up the Debbie Downer routine anymore.

So the real question is how does Sleepy Joe twist this to show Trump failed to deliver on his promises and take credit for saving us from COVID? For those keeping score that’s about one tenth of the predicted fatalities and not one but TWO vaccines developed in about what 9 months?

Good job President Trump.

LOL go back and look at her twitter history...she doesn't even understand how hospitals operate ICU beds and did a 180 on her "school board" positions from COVID from March to now

this is why you don't listen to know-nothing 24 year olds with no actual experience in healthcare

What about when the current pilot saves the plane and goes for a cup of coffee when the 2nd teamer sits there on autopilot when the press shows up?

But it’s a nurse. And she’s saying something OuterBanksVol desperately wants to pin on “the ignorant”. Oh...and she was on CNN, so even better.

She also stated there were too many white male doctors, and that Republicans should die, but then again soundbytes :p

WTF does anything you said have to do with the fact that patients are literally dying, yet denying that they have COVID?

Again, people on ventilators with famous last words. Amazing.
