Worst Loss of the JP Era

Folks, do put any SEC team on this list, especially Kentucky. All the SEC teams have 85 scholarships and the pick of the litter over G5 teams let alone fcs teams. You lose to a recently promoted g5 Ga State team at home and you just entered twilight zone material. I understand there are a handful of g5 teams that can bring big game, some teams like ND State are better than many BCS teams. But an SEC team not named Vandy has no place losing to a recently elevated and created Ga State.....period.

Georgia State was the worst. I'll never forget I was somewhere in Maryland at a customer location the Monday after the Ga State loss wearing orange and some Terps fan laughed his ass off about the Vols and gave me a helluva a time over it. That was sad.

It's GaSt. Pruitt lost every bit of momentum and fan buy in. Remember....we didn't just lose to GaSt, they stomped us. At home. The game wasn't even close.

Kentucky this year sealed the deal.

And let's face facts, kiddies, Pruitt doesn't just lose, his teams are absolutely curb-stomped-demolished. We are losing by 3-4 TDs regularly. And we manage to look even worse than the score in many cases.

And, just to pump some more shine, we have 10 or more #$$kickings in store for us until the end of next season, which is the earliest Pruitt could be fired, IMHO. Blowouts. Big losses. Some at home.

Pruitt doesn't just lose, he takes a beating.

And there are more to come.

Lots of them.

Georgia State.....sad.

BYU......when you all but had the game sealed.

Losing to Kentucky at home by 27 IS by far the worst loss in the Pruitt era.

I say that because, before this year it hadn’t been done since the 1800’s......and Tennessee didn’t even have a real coach then.

So, are you admitting that Tennessee now has a real coach?

PIck the worse loss of the Pruitt Era. Georgia State is tempting, but I Gotta pick the curb-stomp by Kentucky ( a bad team themselves). Losing by 27 points to a team that was a 6 point dog is unforgivable.
Ok guys there are a lot to pick from- lets hear (read) it. It's like kid in a candy store. A target-rich environment .
Georgia St was the worst because of the point spread, opponent and they outplayed us.

It sucks to lose to Kentucky, especially at home. But losing to Georgia State is arguably the worst loss in the modern era and top 3 ever.

The most heartbreaking loss will be when we lose the 2023 NC to Clemson by one point due to horrible referees.

Ugh, Pruitt desperately needs to end this season with some surprising wins. This as an offseason narrative is not a good one for a coach to be entering his 4 th season.

Well yea......they certainly have a real coach.

Not sure I’ve ever disputed facts.

However because he “is” a coach......doesn’t make him a good one.

He’s getting paid millions to lose.......by a lot.

Won’t change much. There will still be threads dedicated to how Pruitt sucks for some fans.

Hard for me to pick between Kentucky and Arkansas. Arkansas probably for this year but still behind Georgia State.

If they beat Ga State and BYU they win 10 games for the first time since 2007. Recruiting profile goes up significantly. Not sure if it affects this year or not but he’s probably much more comfortable coming off 10-3 than 8-5.

So those 2.
I have routinely said the same things to my friends. But then I think, if they win those two games, they very likely would've got into a bigger bowl against a better opponent. And with how they struggled versus mighty Indiana, I don't think they would've won that tenth game. I think Max would've been 9-4 last year if they won those two games
