What have i done to earn your enmity, my dear fellow, other than speak the truth? If you think that Pruitt will lead us through this morass, I fear you are sadly mistaken.
Didn't say Pruitt would lead us anywhere, it's just that I like to be entertained and your schtick is boring.

Fulmer is a very smart man. He was the golden goose for years that got us to the point we were in during the 90s/2000s. He has seen us dominate bama, uga, and be "up there" with the gators year in and year out. The business has changed, not to say that we won't ever get back. But he either feels one of two ways....#1) Totally sickened of how far we fallen and willing to have the biggest pair in Vol history and make changes where needed to get them competitive again or #2) Nostalgic of yesteryear thinking he could have righted the ship with more time, feeling he hired the right guy and does not want to do to him as was done to him. Thinking more time can right the ship......which one? I lean towards him being the loyal, time giving and slow to act, orange bleeding captain who might just go down with the ship while the Pride of the Southland Plays on deck.

Chip Kelly might be available soon... actually he'll be around for at least another season. UCLA is still paying off other coaches' buyouts. The great "uber" coach is 7-18 so far in case anyone is interested... good bet he won't make it to 9 wins this year.
Maybe we can arrange a trade?

Most assuredly I can say that CPF would never allow such a malevolent malefactor to ever darken the proud home sidelines of Neyland. For all his coaching acumen, Freeze is no "molder of men", unlike the ballyhooed and much esteemed CPF. I say again, we must restore CPF to his rightful throne on ole Rocky Top, for only then will we be able to reach the halcyon heights of yesteryear.
Go smoke your crack rock elsewhere.

Thought processes like this account for the ridiculousness of our program for the 15 years...

If Tennessee wants to win and fill Neyland if they will go rogue and fire Pruitt and have Freeze in place before firing. Hugh wants to be here and wouldn’t be a stepping stone.

Did you forget the blue font?

By the way, does anyone know where to find that radio segment from (I think it was Swain) when we fans wanted Freeze as OC? It was hilarious as I recall, with the caller talking about the Right Rev Freeze on Rocky Top.

What I find comical, my dear fellow, is the idea that while CPF's accomplishments are burnished as bright as that of a thousand exploding suns, the resident armchair quarterback's here are not willing to give him a chance to right the wrongs that have been worked upon us. And if we were to trace back the genesis of this, the winter of our discontent, it's poisonous roots first gained purchase when Mike Hamilton did what no other SEC team could do--vanquish UT's greatest defender from her sidelines. Does it not, therefore, behoove us to make amends, and return CPF to his rightful role? I, and many others I imagine, daresay that it does.

So, if I can read thru the Shakespearean monologue, and put it in layman's terms, you're saying that Fulmer should fire Pruitt and hire himself as HC? I mean, that's what it sounds like you're saying.

Your logic here, if I understand, is that Fulmer wasn't given ample opportunity to right the ship, thus should've never been fired in the first place. There are two problems with this line of thinking:
1) He had his 1st losing season in '05. Rather than being fired, he was given opportunity to get it fixed. '06 and '07 were better seasons, but then '08 hit, and it was painfully obvious to many, that without Cutcliffe, it was over. So (as you say) "I, and many others I imagine, daresay that it does" mean that Fulmer was given the opportunity to right the ship.
2) By your logic, we shouldn't fire Pruitt, because he hasn't had time to right the ship that "I, and many others I imagine, daresay" feel that he is sinking.

How am I doing?

I guess my only other question is ... do you talk like this in real life, when you are having conversation with actual people, or is this your @Witch_Doctor "bones never lie" internet persona? I don't have a problem with it ... it's cool ... I'm just curious.

Not being ugly, just asking.

Say what you want about Freeze but his wife did her level best to make him not radioactive.

Disgraced Ole Miss coach breaks down as wife recalls his confession
Speaking at a Liberty University convocation, Freeze described how “my world got rocked in 2017” when what he thought was “a private sin” he had confessed to his wife and two friends in 2016 became public knowledge. He used the experience as a lesson in his talk about faith, but it was his wife’s comments that got him choked up.

“I can remember that moment of just screaming in my head,” Jill Freeze said, referencing her husband’s 2016 confession. “My prayer was this very eloquent prayer — ‘God, help me.’ That was it. And immediately it was like, are you going to focus on your hurt or are you going to focus on your healing? And I’m like, ‘I want healing.’

“In that immediately I was able to see him. His heart. I mean, I’ve lived with [Hugh] for 25 years. This man is the godliest man I have ever known. I am who I am in Christ because of this man and the impact and influence he has had on me.”

Someone's hiring him this winter.

I can guarantee you we will not go 2-10 or even 3-10.

How can you guarantee that?

We ain't beating UF, or TAMU. Auburn is playing enough defense to stop us, and if Bo Nix can hit a slant, they'll score at will. That leaves Vandy, and we're their SuperBowl, so we'll get there best shot of the season, whatever that may actually be.

The whole team wilts as JG crumbles, and we don't have another QB ready, even coming out of a bye week.

I just don't see how you can comfortably guarantee that we won't go 2-10 or 3-9 ... oh wait, I see what you did there, and no, I'm not untyping this!
