Why couldn't this have been announced one week ago?

He was asked that. He gave an answer. I’m not sure because the question isn’t that important to me. I’m just glad at looks like they might have one. Time will tell. Even more glad they gambled and have been producing anyway gambling it would work. But to your question iirc he said the group within Pfizer that reviews the results to recommend going to the next step just announced it’s internal approval to do so

Correct. It’s great to know things are looking good in respect to a vaccine.

Either way the announcement would’ve had political fallout. If a week ago, there’s no doubt people would’ve said Trump forced them to say it to influence the election. But waiting a week might have influenced the election as well.

Honestly....I don’t really give a crap. I just want to get rid of the political influence of a freaking virus that’s killing people and affecting livelihoods.

When you provide healthcare for the entire country plus anyone that crosses your boarder , you don’t really have the funds that trivial , extra stuff like vaccines. Besides why should they when they can just let the US do it before the left breaks our healthcare system like theirs is .
