Thought the argument from you all when Pruitt was hired was everyone was pulling in the same direction? Nobody up there knows what’s up or down. I wish y’all would stop giving money. Seriously. It’s the only thing that will stop it all is when they go broke.People also forget we have extremely different dynamics at UT than at most other SEC schools. Donor in fighting....administration not wanting athletics to drive conversations on decisions...Academics that would rather see our football team fail than succeed......AD that only has partial internal support...A head coach that really has not been given everything he has asked for....an AD that likes to control things way more than people know...I could go on and on.
But until everyone at UT is on the same page and wanting the same goals...it DOESNT MATTER WHO YOU BRING IN....you will still have these same issues. The big names are also fully aware of these dynamics at UT hence why we don’t have big name coaches knocking at our door to come here when the job opens up.
Shut the program down. See how academics feels then. ****ing nerds

I think there are a few of us who need to see some progress before we are willing to continue supporting and I am ok with it. JP got a lot pulling in the same direction...but not all. And where the program was/is...we need ALL imoThought the argument from you all when Pruitt was hired was everyone was pulling in the same direction? Nobody up there knows what’s up or down. It’s such bs too. All we heard when Fulmer took over was “faith is restored rejoice!” And now this. So dumb. Pruitts been given a heck of a lot more than any coach and he flat out sucks. Idk why the academics even get a freaking say. They should go work at Vanderbilt. They let morons into the university of Tennessee this isn’t Yale. There you have it.
Bo Davis and Tosh Lupoi, pretty plesase?? And replace Friend and Weinke??I think the loss of Rumph, Rocker and Sherrer took it‘s toll. They were all very good evaluators and developers of talent...but only one of them was really willing to beat down the path on the recruiting trail. 2 opted for the got it made in the shade lifestyle of the NFL and the other got to name his hours at USC so don’t blame them for not sticking around. Pruitt put some younger guys in those roles who would be willing to burn the midnight oil both on the recruiting side and in the office...but I think that was a bad move.
Specify the fiction in this exchange. I put valid numbers up in response to you pulling “100% better” out ya azz. I’ll let the rest of your zany post speak for itself. All you do is mischaracterize what people say and manifest fictional narratives to attack. Borderline delusional schizophrenic. Saying Stoops is better than Pruitt doesn’t make me a fan of Stoops. But go ahead. Continue sucking yourself off arguing points I’m not making.

What about Freeze? If he wanted to come here would we hire him? A proven winnerPeople also forget we have extremely different dynamics at UT than at most other SEC schools. It's close. Huge busted plays, slants at will. It's nothing about clouded judgment. It's embarrassing level of defense.
