It will be Charlie Ergen Dish money. Where's MIT Beaver when you need him?
I don't even think the fan base requires equality/supremacy with/over Florida and Georgia, just consistently beating the lower tier teams of Kentucky, SC, Vandy, Mizzou, and Arkansas of the league would be a start. I thought we had reached that point after the first two game this year, but boy was I wrong.
Rally the troops for Hugh or Fickell.
IDK, I just remember he was supposedly the secret savior putting the money together for Gruden the last time we went through all this. At least in the fantasy land (but quite entertaining) Gruden threads. What is the deal with that guy? He's the most wealthy donor I'm aware of, but it seems he's not as apt to want the buildings named after him, or want direct input like the Haslam's do. I honestly don't know a ton about his relationship to UT other than him being an alum.
True. I hear Coach McGoogle is a real Yahoo. There are only two options. Hire Freeze or stick with Pruitt. Firing Pruitt and starting over with coach McGoogle would only be worse. I don't want to start over again with a guy who will just be fired in 3 years. I want a proven winner or give Pruitt the Stoops treatment and maybe by year 6 he has it figured out lol
Shut the program down. See how academics feels then. ****ing nerdsPeople also forget we have extremely different dynamics at UT than at most other SEC schools. Donor in fighting....administration not wanting athletics to drive conversations on decisions...Academics that would rather see our football team fail than succeed......AD that only has partial internal support...A head coach that really has not been given everything he has asked for....an AD that likes to control things way more than people know...I could go on and on.
But until everyone at UT is on the same page and wanting the same goals...it DOESNT MATTER WHO YOU BRING IN....you will still have these same issues. The big names are also fully aware of these dynamics at UT hence why we don’t have big name coaches knocking at our door to come here when the job opens up.
Fire em all. Did I do it right?People also forget we have extremely different dynamics at UT than at most other SEC schools.
