Nope! You don’t fire Pruitt in a year of covid for another up and comer. Bass is right, you only fire Pruitt is you have a Freeze or Meyer on the line. Otherwise, give him another year and see who is available next year or maybe Pruitt shocks us all. Let’s just hope they are doing some feelers with Freeze right now.

Why is our 3rd down defense so atrocious with defensive "gurus"? 103rd in the country out of 123 teams woof. Given up 50%+ conversions in all 4 losses.

We haven't had a 3rd down defense merely in the top half of the country in 4 years. Tough to not give up 400 yards like we did again vs Arkansas when you can't help yourself off the field.

Maybe, but no other program has come calling for him. I think he's had some good luck. I don't see a great coach there. They, like us, also have no QB and Stoops is in year 107.

Very good defensive coach, I'll give him that. But he may be even more lost on offense than we are. KY also gave him way more time than we ever would.

I disagree. When we get blown out by AM, Auburn, and UF the heat will be so high. Everyone will be screaming for a change and once that happens, you have to make a change. Like I said, 60-75k at Neyland will be worse than a buyout and new coach bringing in 90-100k.

Idk. It seems inevitable that next year will be awful as well. There’s no saving this ship imo. Might as well get the rebuild started w a VFL like Tee I guess. I know that’s an awful take but at least Tee loves the university. Pruitt will be laughing all the way to the bank merrily as he’s fired.

is it wrong thath i'd settle for just not being miserable about TN football anymore? there's the utopia that is TN competing with UGA and FL....and there's the reality that we're competing with Vandy for worst in the division.

i think i'd settle for like 5 or 6 years of 7 to 9 wins consecutively.

I’ve not been on much the past few days.

Will rep-ho someone if they give me a quick run down on the latest rumors and other notes since the game.

Why was shamburger out? AT? JT? What’s the story with issues in the locker room? Any other interesting notes.

I saw where Savion transferred but wgas. He was never ever a factor.

And we are overall an experienced defense. Talent, not as much.
