There are only two options. Hire Freeze or stick with Pruitt. Firing Pruitt and starting over with coach McGoogle would only be worse. I don't want to start over again with a guy who will just be fired in 3 years. I want a proven winner or give Pruitt the Stoops treatment and maybe by year 6 he has it figured out lol

Hugh Freeze is not the only coach out there. He’s just our Gruden this time. We need another up and comer and see if we can luck out this time. No one wants it but it’s better than Doeren or something.

Pruitt is not getting fired this year. it's not happening. i believe that to my core.

I don’t think he’d take that job. He knows he’s a better coach than the Sc job.

I wish I were getting my hopes up. I know what's going to happen. We're dead as a program. It's over. We're not coming back. We have a systemic problem in our university and unless we absolutely get lucky with a Barnes type hire for football we are finished.

what'll be reall great is when, in like 3 years, Pruitt gets another HC job at an SEC school and uses all the lessons he learned here and turns in to a great HC.

Exactly. Freeze is the only answer. And he would take it. I don't want LA tech's head coach or another coordinator learning on the job. There is a proven, elite, head coach available. And we won't hire him.

I have no excitement for next year either. Hubbs comment about Pruitt saying well I could go back to Bama makes me think things should just go ahead and change. Thanks for flipping the roster and giving us some talented freshman and sophomores Jeremy. Hugh would win with those players.

If Haslam ponies up the money for the hire it will be because we're hiring some NFL re-tread that he had a good conversation with 5 years ago.
