I think it’s probably Tee.

We’re going to be scraping the bottom of the barrel on outside hires at this point. Might as well give Tee a shot.
And this is exactly why we are in the predicament that we are in… We continue to scrape the bottom of the barrel. We have been saying that we might as well give so-and-so a shot for over a decade! Pony up the money that we know the boosters and the university has, and go hire a proven winner with power 5 and preferably SEC experience.

I swear, some of yall posters have to be employees inside the athletic department or University with these re-invent the wheel type suggestions for hiring. If you wanna hire someone like Luke Fickell or Bill Clark etc., then you can't be serious about winning. I like them both as well and think they are both good coaches, but let's be done with unproven up and comers or those who have only did it on the small stage.

Theres only two right answers if championship level football is where we wanna go, and they are both dirty and slime balls. But I ain't hiring a deacon for the church. I want a winning football coach not a pastor.

Give me the guy who's done it in the big time, and against the very best to do it and been as or more successful than any other coach against said competition. And at Ole Freaking Miss.

I see Bass has his mind in the right place. Its Freeze or nothing and ride this **** storm all the way out with CJP. The answer is so simple and right in front of our faces, so you know we won't 🤬

So lets say we let Chaney go. Lets get this guy before you laugh look at his resume.
He spent 3 years as a GA and assistant QB coach under Kliff Kingsbury.
Kittley arrived at Houston Baptist in January of 2018. At the time, he was 26-years old and a first-time coordinator. He was inheriting an offense that was ranked No. 112 in total offense, 117th in scoring offense and 116th in yards per play in FCS the year prior. In his first year as OC, Kittley elevated HBU to No. 53 in total offense and No. 63 in scoring offense. Last year, his second as offensive coordinator at the ripe old age of 28, Kittley produced the No. 12 FCS offense in the country in yards per game (462) and No. 14 in scoring (35.8). In just two seasons, Kittley had improved the offense by nearly 200 yards per game and the scoring by more than 22 points per game.
He also helped develop NFL QB's Davis Webb, Baker Mayfield, and a guy by the name of Pat Mahommes.
Here is our Lebby or Yurich, Pruitt needs to go get him.
Zach Kittley - Football Coach - Houston Baptist University Athletics

The below is from an article I found after the extension. I guess they owe him roughly $20 million, but would only need to pay 60% of that, so $12 million to get him gone I guess?

Tennessee's buyout for terminating Pruitt's contract remains 60% of the remaining salary he's owed through the end of the deal.

Pruitt will continue to make his $3.8 million salary through the end of January 2021 before his raise is pro-rated over the remaining 11 months of the year. Per the contract amendment, Pruitt's supplemental pay in addition to his $275,000 base pay will total $1,468,750 between February and June. The supplemental pay increases to$2,289,583 starting in July through the end of January 2022. Thus Pruitt will make a little bit more than $4 million over that contract year before his salary increases to $4.2 million starting in February 2022.

Hugh Freeze.

I know everyone here hates him, but how much money do you think it would take to get Meyer back on the sidelines? He's like the exact opposite of this staff, every QB he coaches ends up competing for the Heisman.
