Definitely.freeze is a OC guru with his on Philosophy I just hope it’s not too complicated for these players to take in🙄😅
Freeze calls the plays and is basically the OC. All you need to know lol
I looked it up after I asked the question
Matt Luke- co OC, now at UGA
Dan Werner- Co OC and QB coach, now at SCAR

He was on pace for 125 yards, we should be thrilled. Lol! Bailey had 65 yards in one series
And looked better in the pocket than any QB all year. Thank God he has had limited reps so the coaches don’t ruin him.

Yea!! What a dream boat he’s definitely the next Peyton Manning.could you imagine that as a highlight stat on sports center when they show your highlights most qb’s have that in 1 quarter.

Hot take:

we would be playing 8-9(normal season) win a year football if we had kept Butch.

Remember that butch had a top 5 recruiting class committed that included a QB that is performing very well right now and could easily be the next Dobbs right now:

Freeze is known for offense but his defense with nkemdiche wasn’t bad.
If there was ever a time in history to hire a great offensive mind and not worry so much about defense... It's now.

If you want to see what the best defense money can buy coupled with a game managing offense can do, you can. It's called Georgia. They just got easily boat raced by the two best offenses in the league.

1) Recall 3. Dave Wommack and Dan Werner started out as Co-OC’s. Then Matt Luke ended up with the title.
2) Yes.
So, with Freeze ( again I know most likely fantasy land). We would need to find a QB coach and O line coach. He played the position and coached it for one year, so why not give Tee the co oc title and then move him to QB coach. The go give Luke, Chaney money and name his as the other CO oc

Look it’s really simple. He was 5/8, made some really good plays with his feet, picked up some nice third down conversions and did everything he was asked to do last night.

It’s intelligent to say he played a near perfect game for what he was asked to do last night.

It’s also intelligent to question the coaching game plan and say it was dumbed down so conservatively because there is no confidence in JG.

what isn’t intelligent is to point to JGs stats from last night and say he played poorly. That’s simply false and shows a lack of knowledge

There was too much baggage with Butch, it was time for him to go.

Offense has definitely become the more valuable side of the ball the last few years.

At this point what are the options for this program? My concern is with scheme and in-game adjustments, players losing faith in the system. What we (I) don't know is whether the higher ups have determined that this is a throwaway year. Same is true at SC, Auburn and maybe Vandy. Two of those programs have fan bases with the same expectations as UT. ALL of those programs have major budget losses because of "Covid". IF we ride with Pruitt, then in my opinion changes need to be made on how plays are called, whether it's Chaney opening up or Pruitt leaving him alone. Also need to be willing to take more chances on Defense and stop being so vanilla. IF we make a change, needs to be handled quickly and needs to be either an Offensive guy with a questionable past (Freeze, Sark, maybe Kiffin if we could pry him loose) or an Offensive guy who's made his reputation in a lower level conference (Napier, or the guy from Coastal). Needs to be a 180 degree turn from the old school, win with defense and try not to lose with offense approach. I have no more answers than the next guy, and I am a career Defensive, hit em in the mouth coach, but the game, the rules and the players have evolved. We have to evolve too. GO VOLS
