Hubbs made a great point on the post-game podcast - if youāre going to have JG throw the ball 8 times in the first half and have him run a ācheck with meā offense geared for a novice, why the hell not run that with HB?
I keep saying it, but the only chance Pruitt has at this point is to sell hope for the future. We are likely to lose out no matter who plays QB, but if you play HB and get him the experience he needs, you can at least give the fan base the hope that this team can be on an upward trajectory going into next year.
You have to be way smarter than this when arguing that JG was the problem last night. JG played darn near perfectly for what he was asked to do so stop it with the using of stats to say he played poorly especially after last night
let me help you with a more intelligent argument.
The coaches gameplanned with JG last night like he was a 9 hole hitter asking him to sac bunt every time he got to the plate. He even got a single last night and did exactly what was ask of him but the SEC isnāt a league for small ball. Itās a league for letting your guys swing the bat. If JG canāt be anything more than a sac bunt guy heās the problem even though he was good at it last night.
I donāt see how anyone can say that we shouldnāt be playing Bailey from here on out. He showed more talent and poise than any QB all year. And everyone saw that he can run. He isnāt Dobbs but he can move some.No !...you for sure did you see dudes comment?..my god heās delusional![]()
Why not give him all the snaps during practice when you have two weeks to prepare? Especially if you are going to treat your 5th year senior like heās starting his first game? What I don't understand is the check down was there all night. HB goes in and takes what they give him until they stop it, then he immediately hits a long crossing or post to get us within the 10 ydline.
It was all for naught in the end, but why TF not put Bailey in and let him do that when it could have mattered? It's almost like this staff is intentionally not allowing the offense to be successful. There has to be something I'm not understanding because this makes no sense.

He said that??? If so, I really hope he gets canned. Bailey looked the best, hands down, the INTās he had werenāt his fault. The first was pass interference and well the 2nd, he had to try and get something done with no time.AP asked about Bailey late and if Pruitt saw anything. All Pruitt said essiantlly was he took too many check downs and its something he can learn from. Hes going to have to force one in that situation.
