It definitely doesn't hurt like it used to. I have become callous and numb to it. It used to ruin my entire weekend. Now, I just turn it off at halftime and get my fall yard work done on Saturday. It also helps that my Chiefs are on top of the world.

i agree. i watch until it really hurts and i become someone i don't like. i will turn over to other games and be amazed how their teams back up QB is better than our 5th yr senior

After getting married and having kids, building a house, running the business, day trading, etc etc...I definitely have lost interest. I don’t know if it’s because we’ve just sucked for so long or if my interests have just changed.

That 100% plays a role

35 losses against top 10 teams since 2006 I believe.

Hard to move the needle on the give a damn meter when your team is routinely getting blasted by quality teams.

Fulmer and the braintrust in charge in Knoxville know as long as they take care of business against lesser teams and at least give us fans hope that we will keep shelling out money and supporting the program though.

They apparently think they found their poster boy for doing just enough in Pruitt given they already gave him an extension.

Long post for someone whose give a damn is busted

Does anyone adjust the colors on their TV to make orange look more green or red so it looks you are watching a different team, and therefore you don't get as upset watching the Green-T team play awful with a middle school caliber qb?

Just me?

I’ll always look forward to watching the big orange run through the T. Too many good memories. The hope the excitement the expectation. I’ll never get tired of that part or the band. As far as sub par play, I usually check out about 5-7 minutes into the first quarter.

Cognitive reasoning and manual dexterity on a message board can be scary. No doubt you'll overcome eventually.

Is our apathy so bad we can't even start a Girls Of thread for Arkansas?

There's a new regime haven't you heard? Back to Holiday Trees and parties you religious bigots and haters, the Islamic prayer rugs will be placed back at the White House to demonstrate our diversity, and God forbid if you mention singling out attractive coeds you troglodyte misogynist.

If it says anything, I live in Fayetteville, AR, and I haven’t seen my beloved Vols play live since the Fulmer days due to distance. I am actually getting to go to the game this weekend, and I’m still finding it hard to get excited. I’m expecting a let down. So there’s that.
Well, I guess I’m you’re typical Vols fan. It’s now game day, and I can’t help but be excited. GBO!
