Maybe they’re all not good enough?

that is on Jeremy as well. raw talent is much better than Uk but he's not developing as well as Mark.

The link is a measure of raw talent...which has improved under Pruitt. But we’re still closer to Kentucky than with Georgia or Alabama. Our talent level ranks 7th in the SEC - right between Auburn and South Carolina. of course raw talent (based on recruiting rankings) Doesn’t always translate to results. Look at LSU this year - third most talented roster but near the bottom of the league.

What else would make CJP com mit career suicide?

I’ve gone from cornbread to gtfo since the Missouri game and it’s all based on roster management and development.

Either we've got the worst talent evaluators in the biz or we have coaching/culture issues. By all accounts, Pruitt and Ansley are DB gurus. So why are they running around like a chicken with it's head cut off? We've supposedly loaded our OL with 4* and 5* NFL bound talent but they're consistently inconsistent. This staff can't even decide who the starting 5 should be and what positions each should be playing.

We've had 3 years of recruiting and development yet we still have no real answers at the most important position on the field...QB. It's JG all day every day. Between Hill(when he was here), Maurer and Shrout...not one of them can manage the game/offense better than JG? They STILL don't know what to do? After this much time in the program? Hell, we run this so-called RPO offense but don't have the qb to run it and even recruit a kid who the OC reportedly doesn't like and doesn't seem to fit that offense. At this point, I'd be taking a page from the UK playbook and putting Jimmy Holiday in at QB and really have a running threat at the position. Do something...anything other than the same thing week after week...year after year.

Who am I kidding. It is what it is.

UT has started one of the worst QBs in college Football for 4 years. Who does that?

Just about every other school would've made that change a few games or maybe after a year. UT doesn't start the climb back up until JG is gone.
This is crazy talk. JG has certainly had really bad moments but the worst qb in history? By this metric Clint Stoerner is the worst qb in history.

Mauer was better than number 2 before he was hurt. Quick throws, decisive, moved the ball and seemed to spark the team. There are probably at least three quarterbacks on the team better than number 2. But I simply don't care anymore. Let Pruitt be Pruitt and number 2 be number 2. I'm looking forward to next season; This one is shot.

I hate to agree with this as development was supposed to be CJP's strong suit. It certainly was when he was position coaching and coordinating, however as a head coach so far, not so much.

I think JG is bad, but did Maurer have a game without an interception during his limited playing time? He developed last year up until the concussion, no spring ball this year, injury issues this spring and fall as well. I think Mauer has potential, but you can’t win from the trainers table.
