They are starting JG after the bye... (this week's depth chart)

Let me preface this by saying the childish labels we put on each other because we disagree is .......... childish.

Nothing wrong with having a negative opinion of Pruitt and what we're seeing on Saturday. That's not what get one labeled a negavol or whatever. It's the never ending, on and on repetition of their OPINION...

Also it's just as stupid to say anyone that doesn't want Pruitt fired and is willing to to let things play out, enjoys losing...
So expressing a negative opinion 1x= not a negavols but multiple x= negavol??? Im confused

So are positive comment 1x = nona sunshine pumper but multiple positive comments= sunshine pumper....

I think anyone that is a fan for any reason just wants what’s best for the team and I think every week that goes by the words “He’s our best chance to win” is starting to fall on deaf ears. Doesn’t make them NegaVols. I know for a fact that JG isn’t the best qb on the roster and Pruitt is keeping the others off the field just enough that he’s able to get away with the false narrative because he can say “I told you so” when they make mistakes any qb lacking experience would make.
How would you be able to KNOW that? And how are you able to QUOTE that? 🤨

I'm convinced now of one of two things being true. Either Tennessee has zero serviceable QBs at this time and the offensive coaching staff has completely sh!t the bed or Pruitt is purposefully mailing it in this season to keep his young quarterbacks from getting injured. He's sacrificing JG to the football gods in exchange for future success.
I disagree, I think it's hardheadedness with
Pruitt. He is going to do what he wants
regardless and he doesn't give a damn what
anyone else thinks or wants. I'm really
disappointed in him and I sure wish I was
wrong but I don't think so.

Well, at least I don't have to waste my time watching the game Saturday. I refuse to spend time watching TN with JG crapping up the place. So when we get to next year and we don't have a young QB ready to step in and play for lack of playing time, I would like Pruitt to be Drawn and Quartered. Eaten by monkeys and have them throw that S*it everywhere.

Absolutely Disgusting to continue like this. There is by far worse that Dooley or Butch.

**** Ok, over the top, but I'm truly disgusted by this.

Football pays the bills at UT...When the team isn't preforming up to the standards these big money donors are satisfied with they stop spending that money...UT can't afford NOT to fire him if that is the case and yes they can afford to fire him...Anybody who thinks UT is broke is clueless...They make a ton of money off many different avenues...Sales of anything orange and white..100000 people in that stadium at $80.00 a head..Add that up!...Not this season obviously but even if he survives and makes it to next year he is just a dead man walking.

Correct he isn't going anywhere this year. I doubt many coaches do this year.

IF it gets to that point next year, they will more than likely have to fire Fulmer first. Then hope they can find an AD. Which will be interesting in and of it self after Currie was fired for who he was trying to hire and the home state guy Fulmer gets fired a second time for the guy he did.

If we thought the last round was a circus....

Eventually UT is gonna have to bite the bullet and give a guy longer than anyone really wants to. History says you re not fixing it with the next guy anyway.
Regardless of how much $ we think they have.

And that's assuming the big $ is thinking the same way to begin with.

Lol, you must be one of those big donors to know how the hiring and firing of coaches work. How come those big money donors didn't pay off gym coach Jones immediately, why is the University still paying him if all you rich donors had to do was write a check?

Because I’ve witnessed it myself in practice. I’ve explained this. I also know BM doesn’t have the same stage fright that JG does. So what I seen in practice WOULD translate to the games and it showed last year.

So he orally declared his intentions of saying “I told you so” and all of the machinations leading up to said statement? Can’t say he isn’t open! 😏

It’s a football message board. What would you rather us talk about? No one said it was more important than our job/kids . Nothing wrong with people being angry on not getting an even marginal return on their time/ money investment. This football program is a national joke, those who aren’t outraged aren’t really paying attention.
Pretty sure I heard Dari Nowkhah, Saturday night, on the SEC network, call this “a get right game for Arkansas!” That is embarrassing to say the least.
GBO!!

Plain and simple, JG is a (redshirt) senior. I think deep down Pruitt doesn't want to bench a starting senior QB who has been running things all these years. It's emasculating and humiliating for JG and Pruitt doesn't want to be the heel in this.

There's simply no other explanation than that for keeping him in.

Look man. Last spring I told you and anyone else that would listen that the qb race was much tighter than advertised. My exact words were “ JG is the most experienced and it shows” “BM is the explosive and accurate” “Jts has a cannon he needs to learn to control because when he misses he misses high”. Every word of what I said showed up on the field last year. So forgive me if I wonder why my posts are still being attacked by a chosen few.

I agree that if Fulmer puts up a fight to keep him they fire him first for sure...Fulmer is loyal and that loyalty has caused him problems in the past.

I dont see a scenario where Fulmer fires Pruitt or hires another coach.

Having said that (along with the previous post) UT fans better hope Pruitt figures it out. The alternative will feel good to some.

Until they hire the next one.

I don't think they're better, that's the thing. They're even more limited than JG. From a outside perspective and that's all it is, JG struggles with touch passes and to me that limits what you can do way too much. I would start him again this week and give him a short leash...

You would be wrong....just like Pruitt. It will end up costing him his job. Not that he cares, he’s got a golden parachute just like the rest of our coaches that we end up firing. Not a bad gig really, you work for 3-4 years and pocket 15 million. Then you can go be a coordinator with half of the pressure and stress.

And then he said “I’m going to do this so I can say I told you so”...like you quoted?
In so many words. “JG WILL play and is STILL going to help this team win games”. Given what you’ve seen, wouldn’t you kind of be forced to agree that was coach speak last year for “I’m just waiting for Maurer to screw up bad enough to justify going back to JG? At any point did he say any of the others will “still play” while JG was starting? I rest my case.
