Because our Early Enrollee was unable to practice until 2 or 3 weeks ago while UF's Backup HS QB (who has been starting there for 2 years) and UGA's walk on got to practice

Wrong. Bailey was able to practice August 25th. Its November now. Bailey only missed a few practices due to tracing. It was the coaching staff that decided to give him less than 10 reps during fall camp.

And I was referring to Trask being ready and prepared to play when Frank's got hurt last year. How come we have no QBs ready and prepared to play?

My concern with Bailey is once he was playing other DI dbs without Gilbert and White...he didnt perform well at the elite 11....we have seen how much better Trask looks throwing to Pitts.....

i can’t remember what happened but the first 3 qbs didn’t go down with an injury so he may have been listed at 4, on the depth chart,but he obviously was better than that. Didn’t their started go down and then they had sub par play.

Again, the fact that he got single digit reps when you had a QB that hasn't produced in 4 years is coaching malpractice. The guy running a fake punt or fake field goal likely got more reps practicing that play than HB did this fall.

100% agree about coaching failures.....he should have gotten reps....on the othet hand. How bad did he have to look for CJP to not even want to invest the time....thats not blue chip 5*...HB is not the kid from Clemson. By far..

i Would rather see Maurer. He’s quick and has been around longer. I want to see him get a real shot. if it doesn’t work it’s easy to move on to HB. On the other hand, if you start HB and it goes wrong we could have a bigger mess.

I also see him transferring if he doesn’t become the starter. He had a rough time this past year and may feel like he needs a fresh start.

I agree but it’s not going to stop those easy slant passes and it’s not going to generate a pass rush. I’ve detested JG since the 1st time I saw him play. He’s awful and always has been. I’m a Maurer guy but anyone but JG would suit me just fine.

IDK...but I tend to look at it like this...LSU won a NC last year and yesterday Auburn beat the ever loving stuffins out of them. Don't care for the reasons why but it happened. So everything at this level could just click this week or next or whenever and we'd be over the proverbial hump for a week or two. No need to appeal to my lack of judgement or understanding of the game (It feels kinda like the season when Daryl Dicky had to take over at QB and we were just doomed). I just wished we had a more mature fan base (and I understand why some aren't) that didn't take all this stuff so personally and felt the need to attack people's character. Maybe I've been through so much more in my life and try to stay even... emotionally. Because (ok I'm going to use a worn out phrase here so get ready) THINGS ARE NEVER AS BAD OR GOOD AS THEY SEEM. :D:D Ok I can hear the keyboards banging away saying "you idiot Oh yes they are cause man its BAD here and JG is the QB and yada yada yada....:):)
