"The suggestion that doctors -- in the midst of a public health crisis -- are overcounting COVID-19 patients or lying to line their pockets is a malicious, outrageous, and completely misguided charge," Dr. Susan Bailey, president of the American Medical Association, said in a written statement.

"Throughout this pandemic, physicians, nurses, and frontline health care workers have risked their health, their safety and their lives to treat their patients and defeat a deadly virus," Bailey added.

Trump is railroaded by the media and mindless people like you because he TELLS THE TRUTH and doesn't conform to the MSM narrative. I've actually met someone that had a relative pass away from congestive heart failure but caught Covid before they died. The medical staff put the cause of death down as Covid. The family found out about and tried to get them to change it. The real cause of death was CHF. This tells me that it happens.

The MSM is using the number of new cases to incite fear in the sheeple and hurt Trump. I'm not so much concerned about the number of new cases as I am the death rate. Now that we know how to treat the virus, the death rate is much lower than at first. I've heard anywhere from 1 to 4%. I suspect it's closer to 1%. Much smaller than that for younger people.

I wholeheartedly agree with Trump. America needs to open up and get back to life as usual. Been thinking this for the past several months. If you are older or immuno compromised, protect yourself. Otherwise, go about your life. Simple as that. The way the MSM and Biden campaign acts, you'd think we are a nation of spineless cowards rather than a superpower.

Two things.

First, doesn't address covid deaths, which is the claim.

Second, those figures are for covid treatment, but don't tell us what the payment would have been for another condition.

Rely does not justify the claim by Trump. Still not sure where that is coming from, but if its this comment, that's not nearly supportive of the premise.

Americans are over this. Back in March or April when everyone was asked to shut down for 2 weeks, streets were empty. Yesterday, 100,000 cases reported and today looks like a normal pre covid day in my hood. Streets packed. Stores full. Covid fear porn is a loser.

We have gotten so far away from teaching proper nutrition and exercise to the point that people are immunologically compromised and it's killing people.

IDK or care if the dollars or numbers are inflated or not. I personally know 21 people who have covid or had it including wife's dad and a nephew, niece and great nephew. Three have died including one classmate. In 71 years I never personally knew anyone to die of flu or its complications.

In my 50 years I know of 3 people that died from flu complications.

I've never known of anyone that had died from the flu or covid. I have known several people that died of heart attacks, cancer, strokes and diabetes.

That is tragic. On the flip side, between friends and family, I know of almost 100 people, in 7 states that have had COVID. None have died. They range in age from 17 to the youngest to 92 to the oldest. Yet last year I had 2 extended family members and 4 people I knew die from flu complications.
